  1. my father has an ltr450. they are geared pretty tall in stock form. try a fifteen tooth up front first. its the cheapest thing to do. i did it to a banshee i had a few years back, took off in first and was killing my buddies and i had stock carbs.
  2. hey gato, how did you cut the knobbies off so clean?
  3. i have 23 inch itp trac stars on the front of my shee. it helps alot when going thru ruts and other nasty terrain. i love it. i run them at 4 psi.
  4. hey thanks man. that site is perfect. they have alot of cool things. i appreciate your help. take care
  5. hey you guys, do you know with who or where i can buy the aftermarket rear carrier assy and the round tube that pinches it. im pretty decent with a welder, i used to extend a-arms, reinforce axles, and completly wrap impala frames for hopping competitively. i used to extend and reinforce rear trailing arms and all that crap. im thinking of just buying the rear carrier and the tube that surrounds it and welding it to the end of the stock swinger in order to get rid of the disgusting stock rear carrier. im not into putting makeup on a bike, so dont complain. im not into sprucing up a bike in appearance just to please others. and it doesnt have to look like a beauty. it just has to be functional. its a bike, im going to use the hell out of it and it will get thrashed. if you dont like what im going to do then keep it to yourself. im looking for some help in finding the best supplier and price for these items. any help will do. thank you in advance.
  6. i have a friend on here. look him up...vegasjeff. he weighs 180 lbs...his bike is a 421 cheetah cub with in frames, 35mm carbs, straightcut gears, lockup clutch, blah blah blah... his bike is producing 84 horse on the dyno. he has the sheet to prove it. he runs 21 inch 8 paddle extremes and he runs a stock swinger. he has gotten the hang of it well and he races that bike all day everytime we head to dumont or amargosa sand dunes. he destroys people, even a few that have longer swingarms. people always come up to him and ask him what he has and cant believe that he was hanging with them or even beating them with a stock swingarm.
  7. yours is the best answer. i ride every damn weekend with my buddies in some of the harshest terrain youve ever seen. we are so used to it that when we head to the sand its like a vacation. whoops are nothing to us. even the bikes with the stock suspensions fly throught the whoops. its just a matter of getting used to it.
  8. that was sweeeeeeet!!!!!! what rear tires were you using?
