  1. i was at the four stroke wars on march 13th @ glamis helping a buddy compete. i was told by the people there that banshee wars is no more. too much cheating and lieing is the cause. they said people that claimed they were running stock stroke cranks were really running 4 mils. people that claimed their bikes were at a certain size bore were really much bigger. stock cylinders were being sleeved huge. they said that people were fist fighting, words were being exchanged too much, and accusations were flying. they said that it is easier to just not do the banshee wars anymore. they said that when a persons motor was questioned, and money was put up for the inspection, most people would not do it. thus making themselves look like cheaters and causing even more problems. does anyone know if this is true? please correct me or share any info that you might have.
  2. thanks man. the people out at 4 stroke wars told us that there will be no more banshee wars. when we asked them why they said it was too much trouble. they said that there were too many fist fights and troublemakers. they said that people were accusing each other of cheating. people who claimed stock cranks were really running 4 mils and it goes on and on from there. they said certain situations were getting violent and too many people were cheating. challenges were made and when it came time to rip the head off to measure either they were indeed cheating or they refused to accept the challenge and made themselves look bad. i dont know whats going to happen. im thinking of preparing a four stroke like miguels for next year and competing in the sumo class and leaving the banshee for duning
  3. the ohtsu do hook up incredible. i love them. they are great for drag racing against buddies. they work everywhere. you just have to be alittle careful of rocks because they are two ply i think. they even work in sand. you can usually pick them up cheap, used, at atv shops because they all convince their customers to upgrade to razors, holeshot, and the other big names. those big name tires are pretty stiff and cause the rear to spin alot on almost all terrains. then the customer thinks that they need more power because the bike doesnt feel so fast anymore. then they are convinced into getting pipes, and other upgrades. when im drag racing on dirt and i see someone with the big name dirt tires line up, me and my group always see an easy target. we usually can beat them even though their bike is bigger. they are usually confused and pissed off and you can usually see their bike at the local atv repair shop getting huge upgrades. haha. its just like the sand drags. whats the sense of so much power if you cant put it down to the ground correctly. if i were into gncc racing i would definately buy the big name brands because they have a thicker, harder carcass. and the name of the game is lasting the whole race.
  4. thank you for the pictures fellas, and the advice
  5. first fourstroke war we ever enter. hung out and met john from sandtoyz, the people from racers edge, and the famous tj from pure evil racing. sand toyz was destroying people on the side of the hill with two banshees. they had some good tips for me and were very cool people. had a great time. glamis is freakin huge, i still cant believe it. after a long day of gearing changes, tire changes, and preparing it was nice to have competed against shops, and the big boys and come away with a second place trophy. it was even better to hear my buddies name and TEAMGODZILLA over the loudspeaker at the trophy ceremony.
  6. i have trinity out of frame drag pipes on my bike now, but they are a bit dented up and i think they are overkill. which of the above pipes has the better fit. im not too concerned about the most power because my cub is not ported. i would just like to know which of these in frame pipes has the best fit around the pingel valve and near the 35mm keihin carbs and thru to the back. ive had buddies with the shearers, but they all seem cheap and tend to crack at certain spots. they seem to run too close to the carbs too. ive never seen cpi's. do they have a better, more quality fit? which pipes do you guys suggest of these, or do you have another suggestion on pipes. i looked at vito's fat bastard pipes but people say they are shearers. any help is appreciated. thanks
  7. im going to the glamis 4 stroke wars this saturday. a friend is entering his blue honda, so im going for the ride and to see how glamis is. we have never been there before. hopefully he does well. we will be hanging around the PURE EVIL RACING trailer. if anyone from the HQ will be there look for me and say hi. im easy to find, i look like a big fat hispanic version of ruben studdard. im not taking my banshee because we are going for the day. everyone tells us its a five hour drive from vegas to glamis. ill be riding around a red honda 450 with skulls on the side, and i always have a backpack on full of tools and water (and blueberry muffins). if no one will be there wish us luck anyway.
  8. he had his bike on jackstands and was letting the bike scream in fifth gear. i dont know if he was inspecting the chain or checking the alignment with the front sprocket. tragedy struck right then and there. we believe that he put his face too close to the rear sprocket and the most horrible thing happened. his yosemite sam mustache was ripped from his face clean off like a woman waxes her vagina. you can imagine, with so many years of a hair covered upper lip, the skin is so white its damn near clear. you could almost see his teeth. without his hairy mustache jeff lost all of his strength just like sampson from the bible. he's in the intensive care unit right now with tubes and needles all over him. last night we had a candle light vigil and it was bigger than selena's. the streets were crowded and the tears were flowing. ................update this morning, jeff woke up alittle bit stronger. it seems that "make a wish foundation" visited him early and gave him good news. this news in turn gave him more energy to keep on living. god bless them, they cant replace his yosemite sam mustache, but they can do even better and grant him his life long dream..... a 1986 burt reynolds mustache. lol
  9. "sandrageshee" and "ls1inferno" have built a few of those. they look like alot of fun. they are on this site. contact them. they can help you. take care.
  10. holy shit, you know what. now that i think of that morning, i think i did see you. haha. small world !!!!!!!
  11. this is true, i was there too. banshee hill was run only two times
  12. damn, that sucks. i hope you guys find the puppy.
  13. fuck yeah. next ride is probably at the gulf of mexico, march or april. after that, its bbq's at apex and drinks by the pool in the evening
  14. vegasjeff told me last night that your bike was done. he's happy that there is another vegas bike out there in the world, but sad also at the same time. it wasnt me, but someway, somehow, his bike was shown a picture of your beauty. he said he turned around for only a second, and caught his shee trying to hurl herself into oncoming traffic. lol.
  15. itp trac stars 23x7x10 with deep dish rims up front in order to widen the front end @ 4psi........itp trac stars 22x11x10 on the rear with 4 psi... i weigh 345lbs and have never had a flat with these tires. they work in the sand great too and rocks or anything you can throw at them.
  16. happened to me at dumont on a dirtbike in fourth gear. i rode out the whoops and once the sand was level, i was able to hit the kill switch. it took awhile. my buddy thought i was bad ass for going so fast for that long through the whoops. haha. i told him the truth afterwards
  17. thanks for your help. i havent had time to finish this bike yet, plus its been raining here for awhile so i dont think ill even be able to try it out this weekend. i will look up avenger though. thanks alot man
  18. well, even though im not too happy about people cutting into my precious lunch time, im down. i think it would be alot of fun to get BANSHEEHQ members together. it would be a good time to post a few things for sale right before going out to dumont so that we all save on shipping. (tires, rims, tools, parts) just a thought. i think it would be nice to match faces to screen names and say hi. so, instead of stuffing my face i guess i'll give my bike a go @ banshee hill. hopefully i dont embarrass my fellow jenny craig members. haha. who should the las vegas guys be looking for? everyone is excited to race. you should be polite and identify yourself and your bike/bikes. its only proper. we need to shake the hand and give thanks for bringing so much attention to little ol'vegas. we all know that the economy over here always welcomes alittle fame, interest, and boost in tourism. see you out there everybody.
  19. wow!!!! now, im thinking i should stay away from the hill. i have to think of my health and wellbeing first. i dont want to die. i love my life. theres so much to live for. with all of us pigs on the hill there is a 96% chance of catching the swine flu. hahaha
  20. 13/43 on my trail bike
