hey guys with in the next week or two when i get some money im gunna be doing a top end rebuild on my banshee left cylinder is getting low so im gunna rebuild it so my qustion is its on stock bore now and been freshan up once sence i have gohten it its a 2000 so im thinking i should be able to get it just bored 10 over to get it all nice again but if i remeber seeing some threads when u get a banshee cylinders bored u have to have the ports rechambered? now what does that mean exaclty? any help would be nice guys

Hey guys got it all hooked up everything is working good my qustion is sence the banshees don't have a baterry do u guys just use the internal battery it comes with cause I wish when I ride at night I could have the backlight cause It only stays lit for 3 seconds

Allrigigt thanks guys ya we didn't do the wraps likee it said did it the other way it said to connect it to the coil but like he said itts reading twice what it really is and how does the mph and temp work pretty accurete?

hey guys i bought a trail tech vapor and tonight went to installing it i did the rpm first hooked it up to the coil like it said started it and the rpm was around 4 to 5 grand at idle which i know isnt right why is that is it cause i hooked it right to the coil and its going to both cylinders? and ideass and any comments on how good these things really work?

Hey guys my left side is getting down alittle more then right and I have way over 200 hrs on my motor sence I've bought it last year...so. i m gunna re do the top end.. it had wiscos in it right now I'm looking for a place to buy a kit gaskets and everthing...I thought one of the sponcers had them for like 180 bucks for everything another qustion do u think I could just rering it..when I put reeeds in it a week ago pistons looked good from the intake side.and walls look good to

What I have been doing is taking a quart of oil I use r50 klotz and put in a little back pack or something pull up to the pump shut gas off and put your gas in and make sure u see how. Many gallons u put in Say two put 8 oz in for 32.1 and shake the bike back and forth and go I was worried like they said before about mixing it wrong but after. A few times u get use to it havet had a problem doing it that way

Well guys today we went riding with a few buddys I had my banshee aand my buddy was riding my dads banshee...other friend had. A 400ex and other guy had a yfz450 he is always saying how banshees break and Are nothing but probelms well today we rode proby arouunf 40 miles or so of trail and roads and headding down. A road ripping and he pulls over I'm like huh...what happend he. Looks down Blew it rod broke off and blew threw the jug and case he was pissed cause he just got in reebuild a month ago so thought I would share and tell ya my banshee out did a 4 poke today was pretty happy

thanks for the replys most likkly looks like my key came out its prety beat up and aint very good so im gunna get some loctite and new key and put it back together thought my motor blew kinda wat it sound like lol happy its just this

hey guys lsat night got new axle bearings in and rode around ran awsome took off tonight ran good tell heading home all of a sudden was cutting out so i figured fried the pistons i took the carbs off look at the intank side of them look fine everything is good so was talking to a buddy and he said look at the fly wheel so i took that off also and sure enough was the fly wheel making the noise the nut holding it on is loose so wht does this mean could that be all that is just came loose and is causing this? need help on wat to do next or ideas

hey guys i know when u say to do compression test they should be within ten of eachother or maybe 5 my qustion is its proby dumb but why does itmatter if one is say 130 and one is 120 or 115 i know proby not getting the full performace of the engine but does it hurt the motor any or anything? thanks

hey guys i have a 2000 banshee i live in central wisconsin my bike has vitos super stock pistons stock carbs t6 pipes summer running no lid with kn filter and outwear for as far as i know thats all it has done stock reeds and it has a reed spacer was on it when i got it cleaned the carbs the other day bike runs good for what i could tell maybe ailttle rich it has 310 in for mains now i was looking at a few other post and that seems to be a big main for what is done do u think i could get alittle bit more power if i drop it down? any help would be nice guys

Well guys I think I figured it out....I put my outowear back on my filter and it solved it runs awsome why would tht be??

I have done a plug chop I'm n the rich side thing I don't get man is all summer I ran no lid thing ran awsome with it little rich on top end iim fine witht that This winter put the lid back on ran good wasn't lean now its doing this So I'm like ill take the lid off and it gets worse...does same thing but worse.... I live in jumpriver wisconsin how do I find out my elivation?

Was talking to some peopke and they said to check my packing in my slilecers that that could cause it to burlble and back fire if its bad I never looked at it sence I've had it what do u guys think??

Well guys tested everythhing and new plugs was alittle better but still doing it....could it be something with my carbs suck as tors or something causeing it to do this sometimes.. Another thing when I had my carbs off this winter for cleaning I have a 310 main live in middle of wisconsin and I put the air screws 1.5 turns out should they be more??? to me a 310 seems rich it runs good but all I have is t6s and usally have the lid off and have vitos super stock pistons any help would be nice Thanks guys
