Well some know I've been having problems with my shee latley had the carbs cleaned and now my bike won't idle at all unless u give it some throttle or chokee and then it misses if u give it some gas it starts to rev high...... my reeds are good compression Is good......put new plugs in so idk what to look for

That's what I said so I'm guessing its the pilet cause he said the main was still in there......can u just get one anywere ill look and see what size the other Carb is I would guess 27.5

Sorry guys....my buddy called me and said he went through the carbs again....and in one of the carbs its missing a jet he said its the on on the bowel or somethign not the main one Were can I get one??? Is this the pilet

Come on guys just trying to get some ideas why my banshee won't idle now and revs like crazy if u give it gas all I did was cleaned the carbs

. well i had snow in the air box and it was running like it got snow in the gas or carbs.....so i was jw if its bad or will cause it to run lean if u put in in the gas mix ratio

hey guys jw is it bad if u put like heat in a banshee or any de icer will that lean your gas mix out if u only have like a half tank....would it cause it to rev high when u start it and not idle?

Allright well he said not to put heat in the gas tank so. He put some stuff that's suppoose to get water out of the gas and I have about a hlaf tank could that be why cause of that stuff leaning out the gas.......I don't think he used any oil....btw this is the first time I have had the carb off sence I got it All I have on bike is t6 pipes and lid off airbox and vitos pistons and the main said a 310 I live in wisconsin....he runs alittle riich up top in the summer just wondering if that is way to big or not

Why would it just start doing it could it be bad reeds?

Some of u guys no been having probems with my banshee.....rode it last sat and I posted a video ran awsome put it away and had some snow in the air box got that all out went to start it next day started fine........ Let it warm up went to take off fine but went to get on it and after half throttle it would bogg....and miss alittle.....so took it to my dads friend that does small engines and knows his stuff...... He cleaned the carbs put them back on went to start it hard to start got it to start.......now it won't idle at all....and if u give it some gas it revs like crazy and back fires sometimes And a few times it reved so much went to kill it and it wouldn't shut off...then it did alittle pit after...now it sounds like its leaning out.......wasn't. Doing this before its getting good spark and its got good compression idk what's up Any ideas

u to man im 16 soon 17 and i got my first one when i was 15 got ripped off like u said first 30 min mine blew up and was nothing but problems sold it and got me a 01

Thanks larry um no u can watch the video thing was screaming......and I think that is what ahppend....water in carbs or its froze......I did compression still is goood

hey guys my banshee is running bad rode it yesterday ran like a champ parked it in the garage and this moring go to ride it starts right up let it warm up go to take off wont rev so im like oo must fouled a plug or the tors are giving me problems............. so got new plugs same and deconected the tors same thing no better and did the parking break thing still the same...... cleaned airfilter i just dont know what to do it will rev but once u crack it open just bogs what could be wrong

dude do what u want if i was u i woudl work hard and save enough to buy one im pretty close to your age im 16 now gunna be 17 in may i bought my first banshee when i was 15 and i got fucked over on it hard if your gunna buy one make sure its a good deal and u look at it good before just thinking oo man i want this one look around compare other ones the one i bought and got fucked on was a 87 looked clean as hell in the pictures went and looked at it and btw it was all stock my dad told him to start it and it started first kick.........whitch i think he had it warmed up before hand he hardly would give it any gas for some reason so we said hell we will take it cause he was in town and we couldnt test drive it got it home rode around for about a hr and i wasnt riding to hard cause i wanst used to it and it fucken blew up recked everything...... now i ended up buying a 01 for 2200 with t6 pipes and some other aftermarket stuff rode the shit out of it this summer and some this winter still is running hard so if i was u and wanted one i woudl do what other people are saying to work hard and save for one will be well worth it

ya there very good pistons from what i can tell i have my banshee with t6 pipes and lid off air box thing rips good and i have over a 100 hrs on them and compression is still 125-130 on stock head

X2 wisco or some vitoes forged pistons

ya....thats what i figured just cause its fricken cold out when its in thw warm garage its starts right up

hey guys i have a qustion around here it is winter and its pretty cold most days are 0 to 15 degrees .....my shee is jetted good for this cold but my dad wont let me park my banshee in the warm garage so its out in the cold machine shed with a cover now its most likley a few degrees warmer then it sitting out side..... now i dont get much time to ride it during the week days dew to school...but i do ride it on the weekends so it sits all week....when i go to start it it take quite a few kicks..... compression is good around 125 -130 stock head stock bore....im just thinking that its cause its fricken cold out cause if its in the warm garage starts right up with in one or two kicks was jw what u guys thought and another thing once it starts sometimes it does right away starts right back up....just thinking casue its cold....once it is warmed up it idles good and runs strong?
