The Basket should have slid on very easy no hammer should be needed at all ! sound like something could be jammed up I would pull the basket back off and take a look ! also check the kicker gear !!! if you dont find anything try to spin the motor and pull the shifter through the gears and check the tranny ! and no its not hard to split the cases on a banshee.

Thanks guys the Flywheel is wasted the threads are gone so I guess i will try a three jaw puller and if that dont work I will weld the puller to the flywheel ! man just a little dab of never sieze and this would have never happened !

Thanks bro But i have done a hundred of these things! when i hit the impact it just pulls the puller out of the flywheel I think the threads are wasted

Im sure there is already a post about this somewhere but I cant find it ! Anyways I am working on a friends bike and i get to the flywheel and its stuck ! whith the puller screwed all the way in and down tight it just wants to pull the threads in the flywheel ! Before i booger them up anymore does anyone have a trick for getting a stuck flywheel off ? I am afraid i might have to tack weld the puller to the flywheel , and i am sure that will probably ruin the flywheel ! anybody got any ideas? .................thanks

try this the Part # 10 should already have a notch so you can hold it witha wrench while you put nut # 13 on and tighten it thus locking the asjustment screw in place !! clutch diagram

like he said, but I double nut mine from the out side of the pressure plate , that way I dont have to pull the plate to make an adjustment!

yeah you want to be set up to start in 2nd ! thats what I would do try messing with the gearing the cheapest way would be to drop 1 in the front

sounds like its a pos man lol j/K ! well what type of surface are u racing on how much do you wieght are you starting in 1st or 2nd ? really unless u way 120lbs imo you are way over geared all your jetting sounds real close , I would drop 1 in the front or slap a 43 rear sprocket on there and see what happens!
