  1. :evil: :evil: Well we were out riding yesterday evening and came out of the local gravel pit to find a red ford ranger parked at the entrence. Pulled out on to the dirt road and they started chucking eggs at me and my buddies!!!!! I just had my shit fully powder coated so it kinda pissed me off a little bit so in pursuit we go.While chasing these bastards they were throwing full two liters of pop out the window. Got the shee out in front of them and tried slowing them down and they almost ran me off the road. Well this went on for about ten miles and did't realize i was low on fuel. Well the inevitable happened and ran out of gas and blew my motor to pieces. Got towed back to the garage and tore it down to find the piston skirt is broke off and the bottom of the sleeve off the jug is also broke off and a smoked crank!........It's a small town where i live so it didt take long to find out where these punk ass kids live. A total of two hours lol.
  2. I would run it again but i blew my shit up again chasing some punk ass kids that threw eggs at us when we were riding........broke the bottom of the skirt off thr jug and the skirt off the piston and smoked the crank!!!!

  5. You can check them by holding them up to a light and see if they are worn. If you see light through the end of the pedal then like previously stated flip it over. Make sure the screws are tight so your motor dont ingest them through the intake ports!!!!!!!
  6. Piston/clinder gap is .003-.005. The bore was great and the clearance was there. The ring gap was .012 witch was right on the money........ ?????? Not sure either. I know dominator is a full synthetic oil so you can do that. I dont think i will this time around. Think im gonna do a 40:1
  7. yeah it locked up for a min then when it cooled it turned over.....the bore work was done by a reputable builder in my area. Dont think it was the bore job. Had a good cross hatch when the build was done. I took the head off when i tore it down to see what happened.......I checked the compression it had 130psi on each side before it burned down........
  8. Ok got the shee running and broke it in with two tanks of 32:1 super m semi synthetic oil. Jetting was at 25 pilots and 280 mains. Ran great for like a week a little boggy on the low end. Yesterday switched to amsoil dominator to a 50:1 ratio. Picked up some bigger pilots and move up to a 30. Took care of the low end bogg. Plugs looked great with a nice tan color. Removed head after it stopped running and piston wash was excellent. A little dark in the middle of the piston then tappers out toward the rings. The question here is it possible to have a progressive cold seize with wesico pistons? Like start it let it warm up but not enough time and time again, with a little smear here and there. Then it builds up to were its just a falier piston from a progressive? All the bearings look great and feel smooth. I replaced the reed with boysen reed pedtals and checked the pedal screws as if one backed out but they were all there also. The rings look good as well. I dont understand. Any pointers would be great before I slap another 250 on it with a new wesico top end.........

  12. engine to chassis? so just by installing the motor grounds it correct?
  13. oh. ok lol. What other grounds need to be free of powder coat besides the coil and voltage reg.?
  14. I just rebuilt my shee from the ground up and had my frame powder coated. How many grounds are there? Which locations? I knw the coil, cdi. Whats the little silver box next to the cdi? Sorry for stepping in on the thread thought it was an appropriate time to ask lol

  18. Thanks guys! I need to put up some new ones. Its almost done. I had to pull the clutc cove to adjust the clutch with my new lever and cable......and of corse ripped the fucking gasket......grrrrrrrrrrr. But anyway I have had much time with work really getting busy but hopefully some time this weekend or this up coming week.

  20. Steering stem bearing. or the dust seal is getting all lodge up it the middle clamp on the frame? Just throwing it out there......

  22. The wheel bearings are a breeze just be sure not to score and jack up the sleeve between the two bearings.
  23. Same problem.......Will fire her up on wed. hopefully she shifts fine!
