how much play does the idler gear have in it? i just fixed mine it had to much play then broke a tooth off and made a big mess of my basket and seals. it also sounded like a knock
stiff shifting and hard to find neutral.
i had the clutch basket off to replace the kick start idler gear but wasn't sure how to put the pressure plates back on(all in line or staggered) but it started to shift badly after i hit that rock. also a tooth came off the idler gear could there be some metal interfering with something? any help would be great.
i had the clutch cover and clutch off to replace a kick start idler gear and put the clutch on the same way it came off and then put in new 85w gear saver oil in.
Well the other day I drilled into a boulder and hit the rear shock link and now i have a leak coming from my front sprocket seal. but also my shifting does not feel the same as it used to. It's a little harder to shift and a real bitch to find neutral when it's hot. just wondering how screwed it might be :ermm:
Just got the shee back together and want to rip. i'm heading down to 199st near the west end on the river tomorrow if anyone is interested. Come join for a rip and a wobbley pop!
