  1. Im gonna be running a 200ft hard pack track and was wondering what kinda of gearing that any of you had any luck with. Here is my setup. 4mil passion 12 port, 35 pwks, cpi inframes +7 timing 175 psi 22" prowedges and i have the bike strutted all the way around. I weigh about 230lbs Does 12-43 sound like it geared to low.

  7. Make sure carbs are in sync. I put mine back together one time in a hurry and had my carb cable binded and it made one carb open more than the other in which made one cylinder dead.
  8. Want to trade gas carbs for alky. I have a nice set of 35mm pwks that i want to trade for some 35mm alky carbs. If you have a trade let me know and i can text or email some pics.

  11. I bought a set of 30mm CPW carbs off ebay which ive been told were close to the same thing and they used keihin jets. These worked great on my 4 mil until i went with a drag port, then i changed to 35pwk. Google CPW or carb parts warehouse and you should find them. They come with cable and prejetted for your bike and believe it or not my jetting was almost dead on when i got them.

  14. What are my chances on dirt with a 4mil passion 12 port motor against a crf 450 dirt bike? What distance would be best to race? I think theyre pretty fast but not sure how fast. My mods are 4mil 12port passion motor cpi inframes, vf3s, 35pwks, override He just has exhaust on the bike.
  15. Man i just put a dunable 1-5 n down in mine about a month ago and all i can say is WOW!!! Ive always heard the hype about the override but was unsure until now. It dont even feel like the same bike. Doubt i ever go back to a stock tranny.
  16. Im not dead set on it, just thats what 90% of the people who race say is better. If i knew i could get the same performance, i would much rather leave in first with a higher gearing that way i wouldnt lose much top end without the 6th gear. By the way i guess the problem was my driving because i tried launching some more at alot higher rpm and it works great.

  18. I have a 4mil passion 12 port motor. The problem is when i leave in 2nd gear it seems to bog when its hooking decent and i have to clutch it to get it back on the pipe. Im running 14-41 gearing and 20" duro hook-ups that hook really good. As long as i leave in first gear it does not bog in 2nd but i thought it should pull second really well with the power it makes. Plug looks great and jetting is what jim at passion recommended which is 152-50. I was wondering if leaning the pilot jet would help or do you think it should be geared lower when track is hooking? Here are the specs of my setup. 4mil 12port passion, CPI inframes 35pwks 152-50 jetting, close to sea level vf3s, 19cc domes with 170psi +7 timing 14-41 gearing and override
  19. Im running 20" duro hookups most of the time but if someone wants to race that might be hard to beat i will throw my 22"prowedges on. Since i do trail ride some i was also thinking of running like a 16-41 and leave in first and not lose that much top speed since i dont have 6th gear. A 14-41 should be about the same as 15-44 shouldnt it?

    gearing ?

    If im running 300 to 400 foot drags, would it be better to run a higher gear and start in first or lower and start in second. Im running a 4miil 12 port passion motor. I just put a dunable 1-5 n down tranny in it and was wondering what would be better? I know this sounds stupid but on a dunable tranny if im not racing, should i use the clutch upshifting when riding normal?
