  1. I just received a 1/4" prm z-skid swingarm skid plate. It is very heavy duty and the qaultiy looks great, but it wont mount up. The width of the tabs on the plate is too narrow to mount on the outside of the swingarm mounts and not narrow enough to go on the inside. Both my lsr and stock arm are about 5 1/4" from the outside edge of the swingarm mounts. Does anyone have a swingarm to measure to compare?
  2. I received my bearing carrier I bought from him off ebay. I think it really sucks he is taking so long, but at this point I think you are best trying to work it out with him. I highly doubt you are going to find a lawyer that is going to take a case free of charge for a few swingarms. They want the big dollar cases and usually will not be interested in small claims unless you pay up front. You would probably end up losing alot in lawyers fees. As far as him going to jail for not delivering the goods I also doubt that will happen. It sucks that there are companies out there that treat customers this shitty. Keep us posted
  3. I just picked up some billet clamps for 4x4s off ebay for $15 each that I am going to use to mount them to the shock body. They are 2" on one side which is slightly larger than the works reservoir. the other side is 1.5" which clamps on the top of the shock. I think I will have to mount them on the front of the shocks to clear the arms when compressed.
  4. I would take a die grinder and cut almost through the nut, but not into the threads. If you use a torch I would plan on replacing the axle bearing seals
  5. how much for a set of cases in candy blue?
  6. I bought a bearing carrier off him on ebay. Sent a message for tracking but havent got a response yet. He has 100% positive feedback so I dont know what the deal is. Hope he comes through in reasonable time

  8. there are some on ebay but they are all over priced. Like $50-60 each. too rich for my blood.
  9. You have no idea. I made the mistake of tearing my perfectly reliable 99 banshee down to polish the cylinders about 6 years ago. Yes I said 6 years. Then I decided to port it, get a long rod crank, polish everything aluminum, and powder coat the frame. Only problem was lack of time and money. Went to vet school and had a kid so the good ol banshee took a back seat. I have alot of half polished parts and a frame with half the welds smoothed out. I am going to try and get motivated to start working on it again.
  10. I just ordered some candy blue wicked arms. Cant wait to get them, but it will be awhile before the shee is back together.
  11. I have had 2 sets of them and both have been poorly made and difficult to install. The tabs for the webbing on both sets were randomly placed.
  12. I have a DG skid from way back and it fits ok. But it does not flare out on the sides to protect the motor
  13. with as bad as those intakes look I hope he didnt touch the other ports
  14. any updated pics?
  15. anyone know what his aarms are going for? I am trying to decide between quicksand and wicked.
  16. that is what i am thinking too. I wish I would have got them when they were $350, but they still look like a good deal now. Do you know if they have chrome or silvervein type powdercoating?
  17. When I emailed him he said they had raised prices because of increased material costs.
  18. Is quick sand still around? The website does not seem to work.
  19. I was looking at getting these but they have raised the price to $400 now.
  20. Let me know when you receive it. I should have kept it and finished it for my banshee for as cheap as it went. It will take a little more sanding on the welds and then some buffing to really make it shine. I just havent had the time. I bought it on ebay probably 4-5 years ago and it has been in my garage. Thanks again for your purchase.
  21. pics of the a-arms please [email protected]
  22. Pic worked for me too and I sent you a PM about the intake.
  23. Have him send a call tag. You should give them back, but you shouldnt pay for shipping.
  24. I have a yzf600r and have been really happy with it. It is more comfortable than some of the racier 600s and you can pick up a used one cheaper. I rode it 100 miles a day all last summer and it was a blast. There is plenty of power for normal riding, but it is not a wheely machine if that is what you are after. The older cbrs are also great bikes to start with.
  25. those are some ugly arms! Let us know what you think of them.
