  1. I don't know what is considered a normal amount of movement between the hubs and axle, but I just pulled my current wheel hub loose and compared these. Both sets have a small amount of movement or lash. I looked through my old messages and I bought these from someone called Bansh-eman on here. They have been sitting on a shelf since then.
  2. Still for sale. I will sell for $160 shipped gifted or cover fees.
  3. I have not used these parts since I bought them, but the splines look good to me. Sorry Boss465 but I cant go that low.
  4. I have a set of blue powdercoated parts. Spindles, sprocket hub, rear brake hub, rear brake caliper, and rear wheel hubs. I bought them from a member years ago and have never used them. I would like to get $175 shipped in the US. Paypal as gift or cover fees. Thanks
  5. from what I have read you remove the plugs and install a gauge that has a insert that screws in a far as the plug. Hold the throttle wide open and kick until the gauge stops going up. Repeat for the other side. I have read different things as far as doing it on a cold motor or warm. Most seem to recommend with the motor cold.
  6. I have some installed where the domes seals with the head shell. These are small and will not fit there. I checked compression and I am getting 130 psi with 21cc domes, but have not ran the motor yet.
  7. I just installed a chariot head and also could not find a use for the 2 smaller o-rings. Did anyone figure out what they are for?
  8. I am getting 110 and 115 on mine right now with stock head and a cold engine at 900 feet above sea level. Does this mean I need a rebuild? Should the engine be warmed up prior to testing? I was thinking about pulling the head and checking the ring gap and looking for any scoring in the cylinder walls.
  9. I was waiting to see if anyone would mention Rotella synthetic. I run it in my zx10 street bike and it shifts great, but i wasnt sure about the banshee trans.

    fox vs elka

I want to get some elkas myself but the price is holding me back. I would steer clear of alba. Alot of folks on here including me have had problems with them.
  11. Did you make the entire subframe? I would be interested in getting the pieces you have cut out for the electric stuff and seat mount to weld on if you sell them?
  12. How did you go about swapping out the wires with a stock coil. I have tried this in the past and have not had much luck. The plastic clip seemed to break very easily and the glue didnt want to come out to put new wires in.
  13. After posting a bad review of Alba on here I wanted to post up a positive experience I have had recently. I have purchased a number of products from Trailtech over the years and I have always been impressed by their quality and customer service. I have two sets of the their torch lights and they have performed flawlessly. I was recently looking to upgrade my older panoram computer to the new vapor. I have the bar clamp with the "dashboard" that goes around the computer. I noticed the vapor dashboard appeared to fit on the clamp the same way and contacted customer support via email. I received an immediate response with a link to the part i needed to upgrade without buying a whole new clamp. Alot of manufacturers would probably make you buy a whole new setup. I would not hesitate to order anything from trailtech.
  14. My hotrods stock stroke long rod crank did not come welded and I had to send it out to get done.
  15. I was just wondering what the proper way to weld a crank is. I searched and have looked at older posts. The ones I found look like they have more welding done than mine. I had mine done a while back by what i think is a reputable shop. It does not look like the bearings were removed and there are two small areas that were welded on each outer side of the pins. I dont know what type of forces they are under but the welds dont look that strong. I am wondering if i should send them out to yet another shop to make sure they are solid?
  16. Update- Well, I never got my parts but i did get a refund through paypal. I had filed a claim through paypal and I finally got a call from Alba. The Alba guy says that he was calling to make sure someone wasnt trying to rip me off or vice versa. The vice versa comment pissed me off, but i let it go. I am not sure if he was trying to accuse me of trying to rip them off or not. He said they didnt want to send out the parts if I didnt really want them. I said yes i wanted them when I ordered them 3 weeks ago. I was trying to be nice to him, but I was getting pissed. I was still hoping there was a mix up and that this wasnt really how they did business. I said I filed the claim because I had not received a tracking number or any response from them after sending multiple emails. He said they had alot of people not showing up for work and that they couldnt keep up with all the orders. He said he didnt blame me for filing a claim and that he would have done the same thing. He even went into a story about how he bought a broken bike frame off the internet and had to file a claim. He was suppose to get the parts sent out 3 day shipping for me having to wait so long. He said the 6 pack rack i ordered had been backordered. With all the excuses I dont know if this was true or not. I said it would have been nice to know when I ordered. I said i would drop the claim when I received the parts. Well that was a week and half ago and no parts. They never responded to the paypal claim so paypal refunded my money yesterday. I wont be doing business with Alba ever again! I was ordering a modquad grill which I will just gt directly from them. I was also ordering the stainless 6 pack rack. Does anyone know if you can get this elsewhere?
  17. back in the day my dad bought these cheap spring compressors to lower a car. They were just a threaded rod with metal loops that slid on and were tightened down with regular nuts. If I remember right they were pretty small. Now if i could just find them in my dads shop. haha
  18. I am glad you like it. I definately wont bullshit anyone just to sell something. Thanks again!
  19. It looks like it is a 42 tooth. And for the trail tech stuff let me know asap if you want it because I have other plans for it if not
  20. $220 for all powdercoated parts. These are nice parts and have not been used since i purchased them from bansh-eman on here. Powdercoating alone would probably cost you more than I am asking. The Trailtech lights and bar clamp are no longer for sale. Panoram computer and billet protector (without bar clamp) $45. You may be able to rig up something with the billet protector or the bar clamp should be available from trail tech directly
  21. payment sent through paypal for nerfs.
