  1. 280/290 main jet, stock pilots (25), needles set on 4th groove from the top, air screw 1 1/2 turns out. This should get you close enought to fine tune it on your own.
  2. I have all the bolt on's you have + a trail port and I'm at 50 pilots. Seems like it just might be staving at idle.
  3. what pilots are in it now? I would think you should be around 48's
  4. 120 is good. 20:1 is crazy fat on fuel. drain that out. What type of oil are you using. Atleast mix it 32:1 if not 40:1
  5. start with the basics, check for spark, fuel and compression.
  6. I dont think your going to gain any real noticable change in performance switching from PC to T5/6. Are you just ready for a new look/sound? If your going to swap though, go with T5's
  7. PM Sent.
  8. Got it.
  9. I just see were you have an o-ring listed. Where does this go? That may be my problem, I don't have an o-ring anywhere on my kick starter. I looked up a rebuild kit and see the o-ring included in the kit. I might try this and see what happens. At this point even the dust from trails will bind it up over time.
  10. Just purchased another banshee yesterday and the stock handlebars are bent up. Anyone have a set laying around? Shoot me a price shipped to 64080. Thanks -
  11. Make sure you file/grind down the bosses on the carbs flat (casted at an angle from factory) so the jam nut on the idle screws will set flat against it. I have a couple of buddies that didnt do this and thier idle screws would back out while they were out riding. Also check your tap. I got my kit from Vito's as well and the tap that came with my kit was bent. I have the round vents installed in my air box and have never had an issue with water entering enough to effect the bike.
  12. My buddy has a 96' and the tranny is making popping noises in 2nd gear under a load. Also when shifting from 2nd to 3rd it will get caught between gears causing it to rev to the moon. All other tranny functions work fine. Tor it apart and nothing noticeably looks bent, worn, etc. Anyone ever had similar issues? Please advise.
  13. I've used this in the past, works pretty good. It wont remove the blue completely, I don't think anything will, but it will drastically reduce the severity.
  14. So I was out riding yesterday, the bike was running great, nothing out of the norm. I shut it off to eat, came back out a couple hours later and kicked it over, started right up, but sounded like crap. It was only running on the left cylinder. After further examination I lost compression on the right side. It's a 2001 still on the stock factory build, so I cant be upset that after 8 years it finally needs a re-build. Has this ever happen to any of you guys? In my past experiences with friends banshee's, they have all let go while running. I am looking into F.A.S.T. or HJR for the rebuild, would like to keep it site sponcers if possible. I do however have 2 local shops outside Kansas City. One being H&H Extreme and the other being Area 51 Offroad. Has anyone ever used these guys?
  15. GOOD DEAL! I was preparing myself for the worst. Thanks -
  16. what ever it is it a hell of an inconvenience. See here
  17. thier still in business, i was on there the other day and it stated somewhere their system was having issues with the new windows updates. your going to have to call or email your orders till they get it fixed.
  18. The bike starts and runs great. My issue is after i start in up and its idling in neutral, i pull in the clutch, shift into gear, it lunges forward and dies as if the clutch is not disengaging. Now if i rev it up and kick it in gear this doesn't happen. Once you get going everything functions correctly and shifts fine. After riding I can turn it off and turn it right back on and at idle will shift into gear fine, but if you turn it off and wait awhile it will start acting up again. Haven't pulled it apart yet, what could be causing this? I've read some post regarding warn cushions and grooved baskets, etc, but the issues their describing don't compare to what i am experiencing. Any ideas?
  19. I was at Little Sahara last week and my kick starter and the sand didn't get along causing frustrations for myself. After riding in the sand for maybe 30 min. the kick starter would stick in and make it a bear to get out to re-start the bike. It got to the point by the end of the weekend that I had to carrying a pair of priers with me to beat and pry it out if i needed to restart for any reason. I'm sure this has happened to many, but has it happen to this extreme. Is there anything i can do in the future to prevent this? Thanks -
  20. I'll be heading down there the 19th-22nd also. There will be 3-4 of us. All shee's.
  21. I will be aquiring a 2003 stock shee and want to install PT high rev's. Are there any other silencers besides the fatboy 2's that will fit? I had little luck searching this topic. thx.
