  1. x3 on a FAST clutch, Cascade Innovations has a good clutch as well.
  2. What size are they? 20x10x10? Would you consider selling without the wheels?
  3. Mine did about the same thing, when I removed my case, parts of the the plastic gear had broke off and fell into the bearing seizing it up as well.

  5. I have a set of 21x7x10 Mohawks buffed bead to bead that I purchased from Cascade over the summer. These tires have one dune trip on them back in Oct. to LS, OK. Looking to trade for a like new set of ITP Sand Stars same size. Pics are below. Let me know what you have. Wheels not included - Tires Only
  6. Thanks for everyone's input. I think after the first I'm going to break them down and see if there is anyone out there that wants to trade for sand stars.

  8. Like he said, you better re-jet, 10 bucks in jets are going to cost you 300+ in a rebuild. You can go right to Toomey's website and see their jetting recommendation. Checking your jetting comes with owning a 2-stroke, you have to take the time. IMO for a trail quad I would get some 22" tires for better ground clearance, up the gear ratio by dropping the front sprocket or raising the rear, shorter swing arm, might even think about a 2 into 1 carb setup.
  9. A buddy of mine had those ITP's on the front of his, and I have to agree they turned awesome, I couldn't keep up and vise versa when we switched bikes. that might be the direction I end up going. We'll see here in a couple more weeks. Thanks for the info.
  10. hell ya man looks good, cant go wrong with GM!!
  11. too rich is probably the issue. The needles are jjh.
  12. I have an HJR Dune/Play port, chariot cages with Boyesen 2 stage reeds, K&N filter in air box - no lid, T5's, and 28pwk's with 158 mains, N68a needle one position up from center, 50 pilots, air screws 1 1/2 turns out, elevation 1000-1500 ft My problem is its boggy from 1/4 to 1/2-3/4 throttle. Before the HJR port it had a clean up port and I was at 155 mains, needle in middle position, 50 pilots, air screws 1 1/2 turns out and it was a little fat through the mid range, but a had great responsive throttle at any point. I've been talking to Kevin @ HJR as well, just figured I'd put it out there for you guys that know more about jetting than I do for more opinions. Weather is suppose to be good this weekend and I plan on spending as much time as needed to fine tune it.
  13. We'll see. Heading back down it a couple weeks, see whats happens then.
  14. Bought a new set of Mohawks buffed bead to bead 21x7x10 from Cascade. Just got back from the dunes and they didn't turn any better than my dirt tires except at very low speeds. I first had 6psi in them then took it down to 4 which seemed to help a little bit. Has anyone else had issues with these pushing as bad as dirt tires? I tried to set up on the bike more as well to put more weight on the front end, but that only worked when your not ripping the throttle back. I ride at LS in Ok, which has a lot of trails. We fly through there as fast as possible and not being able to turn is a big problem. All other aspects seemed good, when on the big dunes it tracks a lot better, the same with drag racing, the wondering of the front end is a lot better, but the tree shooters and trails where steering is crucial, is what we do the most of and where I'm having the biggest issue. Any advise or suggestion?
  15. So whats the verdict? I'm in the same situation as you with riding trails, duning, hill climbs, etc., is the +2 enough or do you wish you went with the +4?
  16. I have a set of Toomey T5 pipes and silencers that I would like to trade for inframe CPI's or Rockets. I also have a like new set of 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers on black label wheels I would like to trade for 21x12x8 or 22x11x8 10 paddle haulers. These tires have 2 dune trips on them. Let me know what you have, would be willing to sell out right or buy what you have out right as well if your not interested in trading.
  17. you bet, there are 3 of us leaving tomorrow around noon, and the rest of our group will be showing up down there throughtout Thursday. Roughly 20 - 25 in all. South campground. Cant wait. Long time coming.
  18. The only thing involving that quad she would get from me is a picture on me doing her best friend on it.
  19. I would stick with 21's if you want to run on the 93. especially if you say your on a fresh rebuild.
  20. 280's should be good if the bike it stock with just pipes and a filter. What was the cause of the new rebuild, was it just time, or did a hole get blown it one of those pistons as well?
  21. it will be necessary, easy to do, even without the tool.
  22. Like loco said check spark and check fuel, then I would check compression. If its not running right, there's a reason and continuing to ride it for 15-20 minutes when there's a problem usually causes bigger problems.
  23. X2 Their 35 bucks from cascade.
  24. I've always shot them with penetrating oil and used a pickle fork, most autoparts stores have them to loan or buy.
