I used carb cleaner and some premix oil. Slosh it around a few times and swab it out with some high quality paper towels.

F/S-FRESHLY REBUILT BANSHEE MOTOR

Here's my email address [email protected] -
I want a like new one or refurbished. I'm parting out a banshee right now.

scott are you running a double reed spacer? Does that do anything for you? How does it effect your power bands?

That tube in between the bearings keeps the bearings from being pushed into the carrier too far when you tighten the axle nut. It will move around when you pull the axle out but when you slide the axle back in, it slips right where it needs to be. Make sure you grease everything and if your carrier doesn't already have one, install a grease fitting. They are less than 50 cents at most hardawre stores and all you have to do is drill a hole and gently drive it in with a hammer. I put a 1/4 deep socket over the end so it doesn't get beat up and them just tap on the socket.

Send me an email and I'll try to get some out to you. [email protected]

Don't have one for sale but I did that to mine and I can send you some pics if you want.

F/S-FRESHLY REBUILT BANSHEE MOTOR
Holyman replied to banshee builder's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I agree with NYUK 100%. Communication and visibility is key. There are some very high quality members on here that also sell high quality services and products. We all know who they are and they don't need to come on here and say "HEY EVERYBODY I SELL STUFF". They have contributed in many ways and they have offered their productas and services when the opportunity came up. They have also never had a problem with communication and visibility. If I send David Noss an email I'm almost certain to have a reply right away. If I want pics of his product or operation, BAM It's there. Same with Alloy Specialties and others. Like NYUK said, alot of punks have tried to sell stuff here and when called out, they tend to sound really REALLY stupid. Your attitude says you do what you say you do. But since you came here selling and didn't come here asking for advice or even offering advice, we need you to prove what you say you are. Personally I'd like to see a pic of your shop and a pic of the $1200 Banshee engine you say you sold. I'd also like to see a city and state in your profile and an active email link where members can contact you directly. I don't think this is too much to ask. One more example... There was a guy that was on here that said he did porting. Some even sent him some work. He too was a "professional" that spent hours on end doing the ultimate port job. The funny thing is, he was on the HQ 24 hours a day. When the heck was he doing the porting? And when some got their parts back it was evident when he did it... during the commercials between Oprah and Jerry Springer. The porting was terrible. So I appreciate your apparent humility and your ability to stand up to criticism. Just show us a couple pics of your shop and your work. We don't beat up on anyone that doesn't already deserve a beatin' -

I think that in the time it took you to make the 12 replies, you could have posted a pic or two. Don't get me wrong, most of us sell something and we're happy to sell to the HQ team. We just want to protect each other at all expense. There is nothing I wouldn't do for my fellow HQ members. SO if you have something to sell, sell it but prove what you are and don't just tell us what you are. We've had guys on here selling every kind of crap from NEW Trinity stuff 'cause his dad worked for them to expert porting work to new "take off" engines for $300 delivered to what ever else in the world you could imagine. SOOO I'd be happy to send some work your way just like the rest of us. ALL you have to do is DEMONSTRATE that you are what you say you are. Like I said I will actually beg you for your forgiveness. I just would think that a guy that builds $1200 engines would have a pic of such a thing. -
I don't believe in evolution. I bought the creation power band it's a much better power band because it's made exactly for the pwer you need and doesn't have to evolve from one to the next.

F/S-FRESHLY REBUILT BANSHEE MOTOR
Holyman replied to banshee builder's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
There is no auction number for the banshee engine you sold on ebay and the only verifiable sale you've had for an engine is a blaster engine. I'm not calling you a jerk, but you still haven't come up with the goods. Show us some pics of your super clean shop or the $1200+ banshee engine. Aside from the Blaster engine, all that you've verifiably sold is some nickel and dime stuff and some leathers. I'm all for having a good shop to rely on here on the HQ but we look out for each other. Guys with new feedback selling the world at giveaway prices that can't show what they do, are just too good to be true. Until they show the goods. -

Post the auction number or get the heck off of here. If you turn out to be legit, I'll be happy to beg your forgiveness. Until then, you've got to prove yourself. -
Fun poll.. Is the torso on reas11's signiture a guy or girl?

DUDE!!! Please let this die. -
do you need either 1 or 2 D arms or 2 D arms or 1 stock instead of 2 D arms?
-
What about those of us that have more than 1 banshee? Right now I'm running Trinity and Motofast but I've run Toomey's so long I voted for Toomey
-
I run the Toomey 2:1 UNI filter with an outerwear. I ride trails dusty, muddy, wet trails. I have Trinity pipes, Boyeson reeds, and 28MM bored stock carbs. I found that I had a very significant power gain over the stock system. I have NEVER had a problem with water or mud getting into the carbs and even the outerwear doesn't get mud on it. I may not get as wet as some folks but I never had a problem with water. The only down side is that the outerwear sits too close to the pipes and now that I've switched to Trinity Pipes from the T5's I was running, I have 2 new holes in the outerwear. The other thing is the engine is alot louder since you can hear the carb sounds. If you're already running without a lid, you're probably already used to it.

OK... since everyone else is posting pics of their "significant others", I'm posting pics of me and my sister, me and my best friend, and me and my wife. It's up to you to figure out which order they're in  -

The HQ ROCKS and that's all I can say. Where else can you go where one minute someone is hoping you're well hung enough to screw yourself and the next minute offering to help you with a business deal  That's LOVE Or it could be bi-polar disorder :? Either way, we're one big, happy, disfunctional family.... just like everyone else
