it's very hard on parts and normally not two-stroke friendly...i destroyed a crank running that nasty shit...FAST.it makes loads of bottom end but seems to kill over rev.use with caution.

let me rephrase my question.i want to know the durability of a duneable override that might get rode through the trails ocassionally.i have an override in the garage but i have never layed my eyes on a duneable(not many dunes in southern ohio)i'm nearing 50 yrs old and cant shift like i used too.hell most of the time i just take my bike to where we drag race and watch somebody else ride it while i drink beer..... AK you better be careful or Loco might give you another spanking.he likes to call you akmoron but i kinda like aknutholster.

i am positive if i owned a turbo bike i would mash it up with a sledge hammer....they require huge amounts of patience which i have none.....anyone who has'nt ridden a 3 second bike might find it hard too appreciate a 3.80.nice pass

the crank should be tigged with no filler.i have cut about the dogs off about a dozen trannys and it does help.shifts better spinning.i have put a bearing on the shift drum end but really could'nt tell if it helped or not.i only cut 2nd-3rd-4th-5th-just cut off every other dog.6th looks kinda iffy so i don't normally cut it.

i bought a 4 mil from him about 11 yrs ago so his customer service might be better now but it took me a while to get.ran it trouble free for 2 yrs(ran some nitromethane on it)held up good.actually i just give it to a buddy to run in his trail bike.

i got 75 hp just wondering how they hold up and who is cutting good ones.i have a 1-5 n down to copy but it's not duneable.i guess i'm gonna have to buy one.

i put an 86kx 500 motor in a banshee frame...bigbore non-counter balanced 2-stroke motors are not the hot setup for quad frames.gearing one is tricky and vibration is horrible!!!!i think the banshee wins this one

more clearance is needed because a forged piston expands more than a cast piston as it reachs operating temp....more frequent rebuilds?WTF..just for fun take an old cast piston and an old forged piston and lay them on the garage floor and start pounding the fuck outta them with a hammer.you will be amazed at how much tougher a forged piston is.
