JL's mx swingarms look bombproof. Probably the way I'm going for my swinger. If you decide to go with him let us know how it works out. Please and thanks.
Pointy spike looks cool, but I'm just not feeling riding something that may impale me. Rounded parts hitting you hurt bad enough. I would definitely want a removable bar for mx though.
My favorite way to clean cores is to stand them straight up and hit them with a propane torch. They ignite and all the gunk turns to ash, that you can brush off easily.
Not knocking his products either. Love the one piece design, it was just a pain to make fit. It's worked fine since I got it on and he was quick to answer my e-mails about my issues.
My Chariot wouldn't come close to dropping on my Serval cylinders. Jerry said bent studs or cylinder studs not drilled straight. Stock head dropped right on though. Ended up drilling all holes out (17/64th I think) and got it to work.
A certificate does not make anyone "qualified". I'm not a structural engineer, but the front end of that thing looks really weak in design. Recipe for disaster.
- arm will improve cornering and hook up at the expense of letting the front lift easier. I ran a stock length for hare scrambles. Just depends on your terrain.
Glad the tires are working for you. The hill climbing is why I was trying to shift you away from the - arm. Really depends on your terrain. I'll be doing the +2 +1 arms myself, really no downfall on those other than width on tight trails.
Sounds like your just overfilling it a bit and it's blowing out a vent hose like tricked said. No where else for it to go if it's not leaking or sucking into a bad crank seal.
