  1. That was my first thought too. Post wasn't long enough though. Just kidding Windy.
  2. I think you'll like them, they are a really agressive tread design. I'll report back when I get more time on mine.
  3. Still funny, no matter how many times you've seen it.
  4. Actually just got a set of 22" Pulse. Only about 10mins. of seat time so far but I like them. They measure 21" tall, lugs 5/8", 1 3/4" space between rows of lugs. Lighter than my Rzr 2's and Klaws and a softer compound. Straight line traction is great, not sure about their cornering compared to the Rzr/ Holeshot pattern though. Need more ride time.
  5. I do agree that the bars moving feels strange at first and takes getting used to. The comfort is worth it though. I will try the Precisions on my new build.
  6. Anybody tried the CST Pulse tires? More expensive than the Ambush but a more open pattern with taller lugs.
  7. Won't be getting the clamps anytime soon. Snowing here now. Everything I've heard about the clamps is positive. Say they damp in both front / back and up/ down directions. You can use a anti vibe stem with either bar, but I don't think you would want to use the Precision clamp with either flex bar. Standing on my 450 with a anti vibe you can push down on the bars and feel the give in the bars. Both of those together would probably feel like steering with rubber handlebars.
  8. Beat me to the post. Looking at my Fasst bars' if you manage to bend those you will have much worse problems to worry about. Super tough and worth the $. Going to try the clamps with my current Pro-Tapers though.
  9. Look into the Precision shock and anti vibe clamp too. They are around $250 and have great reviews. Thinking about trying them on the banshee.
  10. Another company is Atv Fourplay, similar to the Fasst bars. I have the Fasst bars on my 450, my wrists can tell a big difference with them. I know Cycra and Powermadd make guards that work.
  11. Can I trench my cases with a torch? Can't believe I read all this.
  12. Mount the Klaw's on the bike in the soft terrain direction. Seems to work better for me even on hard terrain. Unless your racing mx, tt, ice or something like that I really see no benefit in running a shorter swingarm. Eat more and scoot back on the seat. I ran a + 2" for a while and couldn't really tell a big difference in my bike versus stock. I definitely would not spend the $ on a -1" arm.
  13. French doors, FTW. How many have not had/worked on parts in the house that your spouse would not have seen the humor in had she known? I would never do that, just curious.
  14. 13/41 is way too low for 18's, your just overpowering the tires grip. Think that 13/42 was stock gearing on 87-88 models with 22" tires. I ran 14/40 for mx with 18's. 13/40 for hare scrambles with 22's back when I raced a ported stock engine. You will be amazed at the difference between the tire sizes grip and imo your gearing will be fine for those 22's. And I'm a east coast guy, what's tight trails and roll out?
  15. What gearing are you running with the 18" you have now? That may be part of the problem also. Good idea to do tires first, alot cheaper than guessing on a swinger. I love my 450 but it's nothing like a shee on a open road.
  16. Everybody man up, at least send a half eaten Snicker bar, some old valve caps, something to help.
  17. There is being a true friend to those in need.
  18. Once you have the lash of your transaxle intermediate gears let us know. We will factor the variances of the transducer for you if you don't know how.
  19. Thanks, rest of you need to step up and help. I cannot do it alone.
  20. I had a dollar but spent it on a box of paper clips. Going to send them to the guy to hold all his dollars together. Just trying to do my part.
  21. I think your throw out or pilot bearing may be bad in the engine. Check it and report back. Measure them for proper clearance and check gear lash also.
