  3. I can get a pair of cylinders with the big bore sleeves so I am trying to figure out if its worth it . They still need port work though plus the sleeves are a little off center but can be fixed. I want to set my bike up for trails so I was steering away from the cubs. How r the cub cyl set up when you buy them ? Do they already have port timing leaning more to dunes and drag (port durations) or just more flow wich would give you better power no matter what you set them up for??????????
  4. Thinking of getting big bore sleeves. 68 mm.FRom LA sleeve I think that would make 409 cc's on stock crank. If I stroke it 4 mil will that be 421? Is there any issues with putting the big bore sleeves in stock cyl? Can I port it for a 4 mil?

  7. I found out today that my pick up coil was gapped too much. When I bought the bike one of the screw holes was broken off. So I juat ordered an adjustable plate so I can go +4. Icant wait to see how she runs I just got my pipes on and jetted right so this will really help me out.

I started at 340 and went down. it ripped ass then the weather went from low 60 s to 90 and it was doing it so after playin with jetting , going from rich 360 to lean 270 i have ruled jetting out as the prob. I have a brand new coil on. I'm goin to look at reeds and ohm the coil 2morrow . Do I need to ohm just the pickup or the charging coil too. that just made me think of something when i first start up only one light is on then after i rev it a lil both come on and stay on

Pro circuit pipes K&N filter Stock box no lid No internal mods 27.5 290 mains Sea level 75 deg The bike revs very clean when in nuetral but when I ride it as soon as it hits the pipe it breaks up no matter what throttle pos I am at Carbs are very thoroughly cleaned. Taken completly apart blown out with cleaner and compressed air. Just lookin for some sugg I'm gonna start digging 2morrow Would reeds cause this???

  12. You gonna let me in on your secret or what? I"m not talkin about the carrier I 'm talkin abou the plate that holds the caliper on the plate.
  13. The plate that bolts to the carrier can slide back and forth on the caliper. It is called a floating caliper

  16. I thought the air was denser a sealevel so you had to jet up to compensate for the extra oxegen. Please correct me if I'm wrong???
  17. I actually got that #from the poll they had on here someone else was running it on pretty much the same setup. I did think it was a lil big but I'd rather know i'm rick and go from there instead of doing a wide open run when lean
  18. Performance gains Although jetting starting point will help too I think I am going to start with 380 s and 27.5 and go from there I'm at sealevel and its about 60
  19. Just got my pro cir platinums today . Not gonna be able to try them till this weekend but what can i expect. How much of a diff over stock. I am stock motor k&n filter no lid
  20. Stock axle swinger and carrier.New bearings in carrier and swinger. Yes the sleeve is between the bearings
  21. So I was looking over my bike today just checking everything to make sure its in good shape bolts tight etc. My rear sprocket is wearing on the side. You can see how the chain is cutting into it. Are there supposed to be washers between the sprocket and hub? I I put some will it be ok. I'm pretty sure everthing is straight

  23. Does advanced timing cause you to deto earlier or vice versa???
  24. I'm planning on getting a cool head soon and want to know ahead of time what size domes to get. I'm on stock port 80 over . got some pro circuits on the way and have a k+n with the lid off. Next winter I'm gonna go with a 4 mill and a mx port on a fresh set of juggs but till then I want a lil more go then what she has now.
