  1. What all can the CTS display show you one the main screen? How close is the CTS pyro to your analog?
  2. We use an SCT Livewire in our 6.0. I really like the way it can be customized to the drivers liking. It will monitor pretty much all critical info in one display. I have an H&S in my 6.4. It's nice, but it doesn't do near as much as the Livewire for monitoring and display.
  3. So how close was the edge to the analog guages?
  4. Can you use a digital monitor like the Edge CTS or SCT Livewire?
  5. Cool. Then what do most guys use to monitor the trucks vitals?
  6. I'm unfamiliar with how that all works exactly. Does EFI Live give you one tune only, or do you have the ability to chose from several to suit your driving conditions?
  7. Does it have a tuner on it? If so, what tuner? Who's tunes?
  8. Ha! Lol Yep, Juan chose wisely and definitely married up!
  9. This is definitely sharp looking.
  10. Do a little searching on here and you will find threads on how to build a proper setup. I can post pics of what I have I you need.
  11. It is always a good idea to have a leak down kit already built and on hand. Should you run into any tuning troubles or if Cam and you decide to try running different domes to suit your needs better, you will need one.
  12. Ha! Lol My Dad had two of those things in the 80's They did good in the snow with the heavier motor and front wheel drive.
  13. I'm still wondering how you fit through the bank drive thru with the 22" roller skates.
  14. That is great to hear about the growth in your area! When the economy fell apart here it took the life out of a lot of things around here, especially anything recreational. It has improved, but unfortunately for now the atv scene just isn't doing anything. Let me get back to you on the details of your questions. Probably tomorrow.
  15. Gotta attract attention somehow I guess. Looks totally retarded to me.
  16. That's a hard call. In reality the yfzr is probably going to be the better choice for the long run. My next bike will most likely be a yfzr. Atv racing completely died off here in 2009 about a year after I built my Laeger. The local race circuit voted to just drop the atv class completely two years ago due to lack of attendance. Bummed me out and traveling long distances to race just isn't reality for me. I have no regrets building my Laeger though. They are absolutely worth it to help feed the banshee addiction.
  17. Because they are actually moose hunters in disguise
  18. I didn't ride for about 10 years because my frustration levels with oem were maxed out and I didn't have the ability to fund a Laeger for quite a awhile. Once I got there, was worth it to me.
  19. It's definitely a chunk of change no doubt about it. And that is just the beginning! Start adding up all the other parts, shocks, tires, motor work, ect on top of that and you will give yourself a heart murmur... Definitely worth it for me though
  20. I can take pics and measurements tomorrow. I have zero plans to sell the chassis. Ever.
  21. On my Laeger's chassis peg position is moved down and back from oem, so I ran into similar challenges when finding a shifter and brake pedal. I ended up with pro design blaster shifter which suits my foot well. My memory says pro design offers a stock length blaster shifter as well as another that is either slightly longer or shorter. I'm not 100% certain on that though. I used a pro design banshee brake pedal and shortened it. The toe piece bolts to the lever/arm. So I was able to unbolt the toe piece, find the happy spot, cut the extra length off the arm/lever, round off and smooth the cut surface and then drill new holes and reattach the toe piece. Turned out pretty good for me.
  22. What about your brake pedal? Did you shorten it?
  23. You must be speaking from experience
  24. The Dodge / Ram with the newer emissions compliant motors have had their issues too. My neighbor gave me an earful last night about his experience with his Dodge / Ram wrecker/tow trucks. Multiple trucks, small fleet owner.
  25. Sure, grab a calculator and go for the average, but you're wrong. If you had read what I posted earlier you see that two of the have 200,000 miles. each, and two are at about 165,000 each. No additional money spent to make them live. These are daily driven work trucks. On road / off road use, driven by multiple employees, used to haul loads and trailers, heavy trailers, plow snow, ect daily. The two newer trucks are/wer emissions compliant motors. They have had issues. The 6.0 had had minor issues. The 6.4 major. All completely emissions related issues. As Green has stated over and over, they are all junk in their own ways. Regardless of which brand you choose, all three have had emissions related issues. I will give more details later on.
