+1000000000 i saw that on ebay also,there is no way i would risk jumping or even normal riding with that junk on there i mean why add weight and make your bike weaker ? any way i am glad you asked because i was curious if any one actually bought this. after searching i came across a pair of 2005 yfz450 a-arms and shocks for $200 and went on my first ride this weekend and am very happy rides 100x better and for the same price as this good luck

I finished installing yfz450 arms and shocks from a 2005 Friday night about midnight then woke up and headed to Glamis Saturday morning for the test ride and all i can say is WOW. (my noss tierods did not make it before i left so i was using the stock yfz which made me a little nervous because i only had a about 4-5 threads on there) i wish i would have done this this a long time ago my shee rides like a whole new quad. we went on some pretty fast dune rides and were hitting a lot of jumps and drop offs along the way and i never even came close to bottoming out not to mention how much control and more stable it felt. here is a picture before and after, *note* i had my front rims reversed on my stock set up so to make a fair comparison i took a picture with new arms the same way but will run them normal from now on.- i would like to thank all the bhq' guys that had threads on this that helped me do this mod it really helped.

I have the stock rims that came on my banshee. they are gold and in good condition fronts are 10's and rears are 9's i will also include front tires for free. $50 for all San Diego

I am in the process of upgrading my front suspension so i will not be needing my factory stuff anymore. all part's are off and ready to go, i have stock clean upper and lower a-arms with ball joints, tie rods and white factory shocks also in good condition. $125 for all. San Diego

What do you guys think about using the +1 gytr 450 arms on a banshee ? And would they work with stock yfz shocks ? It would really be about 3inches wider on a banshee right ? I found a set I can buy for what I can sell my stock yfz 450 arms for. Thanks

Sounds like a good deal especially with elka's they have the best prices around that is where i buy most of my gear although i found and bought the stock yfz arms and shocks for $200 locally so i couldn't pass it up.

Cool thanks, i just found a set of brand new 19.5 inch elkas with resovoirs for $350 cash those things are $7-800 new so i might just pick them up and if i cant use them just sell them (but i really would like to use them) lol btw sorry for the hi jack

If i ran the 450 arms and spindles could i run a 19.5 inch elka long travel shock with rezzie or would i just be better off with stock 450 arm/shocks with banshee spindles ? Thanks

I have set of 450 arms and shocks getting ready to do the swap but just came across deal on a set of brand new long travel elkas with rezzies but they are 19.5 long mmm the wheels are spinning probably to long for 450 arms but might be good if some one had a set of +3 banshee or +1 yfz's

I don't see why they would not work especially if your fabbing up your own +3 arms they should be ABOUT the right length. good luck and be sure to take a lot of picture.

What was your bad experience with the yfz450 swap ? i just picked up the arms,shocks and a set of noss tierods for my banshee so i am curious because i have only read the good. Thanks btw i noticed your sig do have a gen1 or gen2 lightning ?

I picked up a set of 04 arms and tie rods this weekend so as soon as i find a set of shocks i will be doing this as well. do i have to use the yfz spindles or can the banshee ones be used ? Thanks btw nice job let us know how it handles with new suspension.

Why are you getting rid of them ? so what all is involved in installing these like ? it looks like i would need longer brake lines anything else ? Thanks Chris

What part of socal do you live ?

I always wondered what happened to dean ? he used to live a few miles from my house and built my old 250r back in the day now that have a banshee he is no where to be found. btw i remember looking at his banshee at his shop/house and that thing was fricken tall.
