  2. I can't believe I'm selling it, but here it goes. For sale, mesa boogie 400+ bass amp. All tube. Best amp I ever owned. This amp will keep up with 2 half stacks on stage. Included is a 5 space rack, and furman tuner/power conditioner/ light module. I would rather not ship this because of the weight, and the insane amount of tubes that are in this. Cabinet is already gone. Asking $1000 obo. Here is a link to mesas site for specs. PM me if interested http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Out_of%20_Production/Bass_400_/bass_400_.html

  8. Everybody you ask on here will give you a different answer. From what I have heard and read, you can't go wrong with any of the sponsers. Give a couple a phone call and see who you feel comfortable with. The only person on this site I have worked with is Kevin at herr jugs. Great guy, great work.

  10. Thanks for the reply Jared. I'm starting on the swinger in the next week or so. I'll post up some pics when I start doing the mock up
  11. The end is in sight for my hillshooter build. Motor is 80% done, chassis is 75%. Time to figure out my swinger and tire set up. Motor: 10mil cub on alky. Chassis: Suspended single a-arm stretched +12 out front. I am 240lbs. Not sure how long I need the swinger to be. I don't want to over do it. I was thinking around +10 swinger with 14 paddle extremes. My buddy is building the swinger, so I want to get it right the first time. Any opinions are welcome
  12. I think HJR cut my domes to 23cc for pump gas. My timing is at +4. Runs a little warm, but nothing alarming Elevation here is 1000 to 2000
  13. I had to clean up the inside of the brass sleeve with some emery cloth. It was not spinning on the bushing at all. But it still feels stiff to turn. I'll play with it some more today. Rest of the bottom end went together nicely. Sending my cub out tomorrow to get ported.
  14. Yes I am. Thats the first thing I thought it would be.
  15. I've got 2 tranny shafts in the garage with permanent welded parts on them. Beat one of them with a 4 lb sledge and couldn't get the fucker out. I bought tranny shafts from members on here for less than $20. Might post in the wanted section
  16. Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my basket set up. Putting my motor together right now and I noticed my inner basket will not spin freely after tightening the nut down. I'm running a hinson spring basket with stock inner. Do I have to use all hinson parts? I put the stock basket back on and it works fine. Put the hinson on, and the inner sticks. It even sticks when the nut is hand tight. WTF. This can't be normal Any suggestions are welcome, other than throw the hinson out
  17. Can you get the ball and rod out? If not, they may have welded to the clutch arm or to the inside of the tranny shaft. If they will not come out, time to start splitting cases
  18. What are you building this time?
  19. Hey Ben, I put a duneable in my 10mm just in case I down shift or backload it. Thought I might avoid some havoc later
