i would sell them and pick up some t-6's. I had fatties with powercore 2 on my 05 when i bought it and i love the difference. My motor is not highly mod'ed but it pulls better for the riding that i do. I ride mostly trail and open desert.

I was riding last weekend and noticed some play in my handle bars. Going over the woops i noticed some knocking. I looked at my steering shaft, thinking maybe the nut was loose, but it looks like the bearing is gone. It allows my steering shaft to shift up and down. Are these easy to replace? or is there something else i should look for.

i run 23's up front and 22's in the rear and love them. but i'm mostly open desert riding.

haha nothing like being a little dude getting towed out of that, faster than your quad could ever go....with sand in you face from the paddles of the tow-er. scary for alittle dude!

yeah that place always was my favorite as a kid. on the LT80 days when i would have to get towed out of the superbowl!! i love the different riding you could do.

that is a good point. I don't ever remember that river flowing all that well. maybe more like a creek.

I love dumont but it is on the way to death valley. it may be hotter then glamis. but bring both sets of tires there are some great hard pack trails to mines and up a little river!! http://www.duneguide.com/sand_dune_guide_dumont_dunes.htm here is a pretty cool site that talks all about dumont.

when are you going to be in vegas? I ride 25 miles north of blythe, ca. maybe we can meet up. got some great cross country rides. I figure if you are coming to vegas to ride, you will swing by glamis also? if you do you will drive right by my river place. let me know!!

i looked into both brands and i went with clarke. i liked the look better. I love mine and i don't notice the difference in the whoops. only i can ride until my legs are jello!! :biggrin:

I run in the same area as you. I just bought maxxis razers 23 up front and 22 in the rear. I was experiencing the same thing with the terrain. i love the clearance i have now! i didn't change any of the gearing and love the way it runs. I ride 25 miles north of blythe on the california side. out of Water Wheel park if you know that area.

X2!!! i tried to sell my truck on ebay about a year ago. THe reserve wasn't met. The next day i notices that it was relisted with no reserve starting at .99. i called ebay about it and they quickly figured out that my account had been compomized. with alittle work we solved the problem and i was back on. havn't had another problem....yet.
