Sounds like you so the same riding as me! Could be Hot desert/trail and some dune riding. I agree with 05 bansheese with the Engine Ice. I run it and have noticed a slight difference in engine temp. I keep an eye on my temp with a trail tech vapor. A little more fancy than temp stickers. sounds like the toomie recomendation on here is T-5's. run fatties and really enjoy them. I had a chance to trade for t-6's, posted the question on the HQ and was told not to do it. For some reason, which i haven't figured out, T-6's seem to be a down grade from T-5's. Good luck with all the upgrades!! i'm getting ready for a timing plate and Coolhead myself! :biggrin:

Just got my vapor and going to put it in this morning. Just wanted some advise on where you mounted the rpm sensor to? Did you just coil over the spark plug wire? or did you use the other options? thanks guys!!

I thought that maybe the bottoms were on the wrong side also, but that would put the shock right through the top arm. The stock shocks will clear. so i'm thinking that who ever Alba uses to make there arms haven't adjusted to these elka's spring widths? I am meeting with the parts and the sales manager hopefully tomorrow. May be i can get some upgrades a-arms!!!

Bought a 05 from alba action in early November. I negotiated alba +2 +1 arms and elka's shocks with the purchase. I finally got the shocks yesterday. and put them on. I noticed that the elka springs are rubbing the arms. have you guy seen this before? the elka's are built for desert, duel rate, 210lb, no res or adjusters. i have notice the main spring is thicker that stock but that wouldn't suprise me because of the quality difference. Any ideas?

North County Powder Coating in san marcos did a great job with the projects i had. i had a 88 Tecate 4 that he did jet black. He also did a wakeboard tower that i made.

what do you guys think. I have a person that will trade my Fatty's for his T6's. i mostly do desert riding and am impressed with the FMF's. any thoughts?
