  3. Having a little detonation problem. So i have come to the conclusion that i should change my domes or run a mixture of race and pump fuel. I love how it runs so i'm leaning toward race fuel. Any brands that you guys could point me to would be great. I went on the the VP site and they have quite a few types. Stock engine, T6's, 2 into 1 w 35PWK, Trinity coolhead w/ 20's. Elevation is right around 1000'. thanks!!

  5. I was going to say a coolhead and engine ice for coolant but then i read the rest of your post. so scratch the coolhead. I run in really hot weather in the summer and i think engine ice works great! Cycle Logic Engine Ice Coolant
  6. look into Clarke desert tanks. and if you are running high speed desert then i would looking to some 6 ply tires. no good getting all the power if you have sliced up tires.
  7. yeah i'm looking at getting a +1 and i love the avenger carrier options it gives you.
  8. Peter, And all else that are looking for swing arms. I talked to edwin at Avenger and was blown away. Edwin and i talked for about an hour about swing arms, the differences and adaptability of Avenger swingers, and matching that to a riding style. I realize that there is some engineering that goes into swingers,but i had no idea about what a difference a aftermarket could make. Obviously more then just keeping the front end down. If anyone is looking for some swing arm awnsers, call Edwin! and thanks peter for the recommendation!!

  10. guys, I haven't found any info on fast cross county/desert rear swingers. Many talk about trails and woods going with a -1 or -2 for steering and the ease of getting the front end up. But what about flying across the desert? Would you want a shorter or longer legth. And would there be advantages of each? thanks
  11. i run mine off a 9 volt. I coiled the wire around the spark plug cap wire and it seems to work fine. but more interested in temp.

  16. I run a trinity 2n1 and really like it. I found for my style of riding i can get into the upper gear powerband easier. As far as top end loss, i'm not dragging. I ride cross country/desert. I changed from fmf w/pc2's to t-6s. also the stock carb for the trinity 2n1 system. and got a trinity cool head with 20cc domes. I really like the set up now. Before i would struggle to get into 6th powerband. now it is no problem.
