normally from what i see posted if you run 6.5's or lower usually with the right gaering you can run mid-high 10's

Yeah not sure mines got stock ratio straight cut gears so tuff to say then. Beens you have a 6 speed you can probably gear it lower than mine but the higher the better if the powers there . When i run threw the 1/8 right now my quads exactly wide open. May go with higher gearing soon quad has the power to pull more. When i add the NOS i know i'll go to maybe a 19 in the front or 38 in the rear.

right now 18/40 with a 5 speed trans pretty much perfect for mine

Finally got to run my quad for the first time with the new chassis etc. So far best time of 6.6 at 100.24 stock cy 4 mill on alky non triple ported by JEFF at F.A.S.T With 1.55 60ft time so once the 60ft's around 1.4 maybe shade better like it should be quad should hit 6.4 on motor

Just ran the quad sat night for the first time. Best so far was a 6.6 at 100.24 with a 1.55 60ft get my 60ft in the 1.4 maybe a shade lower should get into the 6.4 range

I'd go JJ&A i have one its a good axle and i believe they are the first ones to have made one

I need a short billet shifter for my Banshee . I changed the chassis now my long Cascade Slammer shifters too long. I will trade mine for yours or buy outright let me know ASAP. Thanks Mark

Dont care for brakes no need for them when running the 1/8th plenty of time for stopping. If somthing goes so bad i need to stop that fast i'll just tear the tranny up and slam it down a gear or two quick lol

Well finished up the dragger finally after my frame swap. I didnt feel like waiting another 2 weeks for my sirbrush man to get finished on a big job he's working on so i just base coated and cleared it about 5 tiems in white instead of Pearl white. I'll go back when he has time and let him brush it for me. Sun wasn't out when i got done so all the flakes not showing in the frame paint but good enough. No thank you lol. Now if i can get everything on it have rear brake res bracket and spacers for the hood. Worst parts finding stainless allen head bolts etc but i'll get it all worked out eventually. Thanks again

Theres a guy on ebay selling some very nice chrome-moly complete subframes for like 200 shipped all you have to do is cut yours off and weld it on in 4 spots. As far as the rest goes just look at other drag quads and you can see what braces etc have been removed.

Got mine from JEFF at F.A.S.T. he had the best price they are 11.5 Marvin Shaws competion models and they will make your front maybe 2-3 inches off the ground probably 2 when your sitting on it with you a-arms flat across them.

No Ford or Chevy gas truck stands a chance racing or runnign with a tundra without some mods and pretty major ones. They build a good truck and as far as diesels go I think the FORDS have a better built chassis and body but their engines suck. They have 3 times the parts ont hem and a Max will smoke them. Dodges well ever since they went to electronic pumps they have been junk about the old chevy 6.5 diesels. Just my 2 cents and i have a brother and a cousin who own mechanic shops and machine shops so they pretty much can tell you what they work on the most and it aint Honda or Toyota cars and trucks.
