well what kind porting you getting done? and what pipe you going with and reeds? after you figure those out then you can bump up to a bbk and really wake it up. i say replace the vitos piston because of the fact i have heard from alot of people that with there bbk's the openings on the skirt dont line up properly with there pistons. so alot of people go with the weisco piston. but if i was you id get all the stuff done but the bbk. then ride it and see if that satisfys your needs, then if not go with the big bore kit.

the oil injection block it off asap. they go out all the time and you will be out of a top end. just block it off and mix your own gas put it on there bbk.32:1. the vitos bbk is cool but dont use there piston you would be better off getting a weisco piston and putting it in there bbk. but like i said it all depends upon what your needs are. if you just want something with alittle bit of power to hold you over while the shees down then id do pipe reeds filter and jet and call it done. but if your wanting something to really get you around with no probs and have alot of tourqe id go with pipe filter reeds p&p and bbk.

exactly my buddys think mines slow in the top end but will climb past them going up sand hills.lol i love it its got sooooo much in the bottom end. on a warm day i could just put the key in it kick it with no gas or choke and it would fire right up first kick idling. its a good running tweaked up monster lol

this is true lol. but really motor wise its really all about you and your needs and your budget.

i have an extra set of shee armss and tried putting em on a blaster frame and the bottem arms didnt line up. but ya some parts from the shee work on the blaster and stuff. like 400ex rear shocks work on the back of a blaster with easy modifications. shee front shocks work on the front of a blaster etc etc.

idk if they yfz arms will fit though. cuz yfz arms fit on a shee but shee arms dont fit on a blaster. so if shee arms dont fit on a blaster then i dont think yfz arms will ether. but im not to totaly sure on that.

id say mine as is with the 13 tooth front and the 40 tooth in the rear with 20s on it prob goes 65ish give or take. a yz80 beat me in a race lmao

ive got a wicked ass blaster with a shit ton of tourqe. i got the vf3 rreds and cage 1/2 reed spacer 300 main k&n with outerwaer and fmf fattie with power core II. and i can pull the front wheels up thru third pretty easy. i also widened it 6 inches. they r great bikes for tight trails but arent shit for top end unless you regear em.. id also recomend getting a shorty brake cable kit to eliminate the parking brake. pm me if you needf some parts or help. ive done mine and my buddies had a few so im there when it comes to them lol. got 3 frames in my basement of my buddies also

my buddys blaster did the same thing. id would even leak out while its running sometimes. i took the carb apart and when i did where the needle from the floats go up and down i took the pin out for the floats then the small phillips screw and then poped that round piece out and it was all sorts of gunked up. cleaned it out,put it back together and never did it again. hope this helps.

im not totaly sure but i think they go under the nuts holding the head down. should be the same amount of nuts as there is head bolts. hope this helps for ya :beer:

i was planning on taking the pistons rings wrist pins and bearings and cylinders in to the shop here and have him check em out and gauge em to make sure i can get away with just new rings. its supposde to be 25 over. im prob gonna just ride this summer on these rings and after evey ride do a comp check. but idk yet lol

ok so my psi is 115ish. so im thinking of replacing the rings now before i have to bore it. so i know i have to hone it and then the rings. but my uncle said something about having to get the skirt on the piston reworked???? i never heard of this and was womdering if its true or if he had alittle bit to much to drink lol Thanks guys

timing plate VF3s and he recemended 300 mains with 27.5 pilots. and to put at +4. runs like a top. cant wait for a cool head and new rings
