  3. ok so i used to have a 89 Kawasaki Ninja 600r. well when i got it it also came with a spare motor. but the motor needs put together(no biggie). and i have damn near a hole rolling chasis banshee frame. and i have been thinking that maybe it would be one hell of a mod and badass bike if i could just squeeze that motor in there and run a custom muzzy pipe that comes out from under the seat like the new ninjas do. the only problem is i dont have carbs for it. i can prob come accross then sometime. what kinda sugestions you guys got for me?? yah or nah???
  4. damn bro thats a hell of a deal. if im not mistaking you would get way more out of it if you parted it out. have you thaught about ebay maybe?
  5. i didnt take that much off prob. about 1/4 inch or a lil more. enough to where there both turned in all the way it idles high as f*ck lol then just backed em out til i got em where i wanted the idle and then re synced em and you should be golden

  9. thats what i had to do with mine. just maek sure you clean all the metal pieces out before installing again. and try to clean the threads up with the tap. the taps a 6mm with 75 pitch

  13. both carbs are completly gone thru and clean and the carbs are synced. and the last time i fired it up and got it idling is when it ran out of gas. which i think the reason why it seemed like it wasnt running on the right side is becuase that carb gets a lil bit more gas before empty.idk lol.i cleaned the plug out with a sand blaster plug cleaner and it was starting to run on the left side so i think fresh gas and new plugs she shoud be good. just some more tweaking and it all should be squared away.lol i hope

  16. ya that was done way before this was. plus i think that it running out of gas might have had something else to so with it. the right side would run alil longer due to the little bit more fuel line
  17. ya i think i got it and was going to test ride it but i ran outa gas lol
  18. might have something to do with the air box not being on or bad plugs??

    ok im back to wanting these for better air flow and easier to get to the carbs. i got a stock box with K&N filter now. maybe a partial trade and some cash or just cash. lmk
  20. ive got front shocks and stock swinger. but i think im taking a different route with this one.lol i have a 600r ninja motor laying around soooo i will see if it will fit

  22. ya i had the hole air box off. i wasnt riding it this way just trying to get the idle right so i can sync em. but i dont think i can do it this way
  23. it seems like its running a little different. i think its more because i gotta tweak the throttle cable and get the idle dialed in then sync em. but when i was changing the slids over to the new cable i took the needles out and one side was 3 down the other was 4 down. there toomey needles with 6 clips. so at first i went the rich route and put them 4 down. at 1/2 to wot it bogged bad so i took em out and put them both on the 3 from the top notch. def seemed like it helped alot. but ever since i did the tors removing and shit the choke side doesnt seem like it wants to run on that cylinder while idling. i turn the idle screw up nothing. i took the carb apart and cleaned the hole damn thing and the pilot put it back on and now it runs kinda on that cylinder. it pops and sputers. but at this time i didnt have the air box on at all. air screws are 1 1/2 turns out with 27.5 pilots and 300 mains at 530 above. please help me out so i can get her dialed in the way shee was before doing this. i think its mostly tweaking here and there now.
  24. will this effect how it runs at all? i had the airbox off so i can easily dial in the syncing after getting my idle good. but i ran out of gas and the place i get my oil from is closed. so im screwed til tom.which il have to work.lol
  25. most likly. the thing that sux so bad is i cant really get my jetting dialed in right now cuz its cold out and i never ride in the cold. just the spring summer and some of fall. so changing the jetting to work for the winter would be kinda dumb cuz i dont ride it. dman it come on warm weather where are you???!!!! lol
