Wat does the override gearbox mean? wats involved in doin that?

Is the lock out clutch system any good? I hear that its only for drag racing and that its not designed to go down the gears to well. I do supermoto racing and have a trinty 472 powervalve motor and have trouble getting good clutch plates to harness the power. What do yous think guys?
