hey man thanks for the work ya doin, good luck with the parts!
-
these are easily made as well. had one on a lil xr 100, it was on there when i got it, but would not obther to put one on a quad, mainly bikes.
-
were you actually loosing collant or was it water entering through a vent line or such?
-
well puttin the shee back together, a local builder has some 30mm carbs, gonna see if i can get them tomorrow, but the point is i have advanced timing four degrees, put 21cc domes on it, port job, boss intake, and fresh bore and pistons, i am at 660 ft above sea level. i will do plug chop when it goin but as far as jets, where is a good place to start with that, i do also have the fmf's still on it. thanks for any advice, i know this should be in jetting but it doesn't seem like it gets as much action.

This 'shee has 68mm carbs! Awesome quad

i would have to say i do like the colors, reminds me of old retro stuff. but seller sounds like he is tryin to pull the wool over someones eyes, butt the piece of sheet metal or whatever on the front makes me think of a space ship. lol -
doesn't have to be coolant to make it milky, mosture and water too, if the pump was leakin considerable and was leakin into the trans fluid, the trans would fill up sooner or later... just a thought
-
don't have any pics but painted a whole crotch rocket with that stuff, it turned out alright, minus the fiberglass errors i made lol, seemed to be ggod stuff, make sure you let it cure, it looked good till i smashed a deer with it, then the plastic looked, well fucked.. lol

hmm must be a diff buggy, i saw it forsale though, i thought hard about that one, looks nice, bet it a blast.

Correct me if i am wrong but i believe banshee axle housing also goes on a warrior. -
as stated by 98 shee if there was anything coming apart i would split the case. It is really not that bad and is worth the time just knowing that the crank bearings arn't shot or there's not a bunch of shit and aluminum shavings or bits in the bottom end.

hey guy ima noobe and hey serious problem
2strokecook replied to dudly's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
If he said it was a longer rod with no spacer and of no cut domes, i would assume he put a long rod crank in it. Which is not stroked, but the rods are longer and the wrist pin position is moved up higher on the pistons, The long rod is so post to help with longivity of the motor, that is the only advantage i have heard of. i Fried a hole on my left piston as well and after tear down have narrowed it to the fly wheel side crank seal. i have some 21 cc domes in a cool head i am goin to try this time. i would def move to atleast 20cc to try and run gas but with a different set up the results may varry.
