  1. Looking at the 421 T-rex kit. Like the idea of the power valves for more midrange power and the midrang porting. Anyone have this setup with the T-Rex head? Its a bit pricy but does come with most of the parts i need.... Dont care much about the price...just want a good midrange engine. its not nickasil coated but can be re sleaved easy enough... Thanks!

  3. Banshee engine mount for a Kart, seen one? I have seen a ton of other engines mounted in Karts and they have nice billet mounts for them. Like a mini engine cradel.. QRC billet engine mounts Anyone seen something like this? Maybe for large drag quads etc??? Thanks!

  6. Wow.... 4mil..... why 4 mil over 10 mil? Would a larger displacment engine with stock heads make more power and give larger torque curve? So everyone is saying that the cheater and cub engines will have a light switch powerband.........hmmmm..... Its an RZ type frame for street bike use...Just figured a trail type build would be best, maybe Im wrong.... I was gonna do the 10mil with cub/cheater heads but it sounds like thats more of a full drag engine? I was looking for less peaky street bike engine... I wish i could live with a stock engine but it's just not me... the Stock rz is way to slow..... How much hp will the 4mil with dune port make using pump gas? Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming because you all know more about this than me!
  7. Im starting a new build. Looking for a powerful trail bike, low end to midrange power without a lightswitch power band. What heads are best, cubs or cheater with valves? What stroke and bore would give a smooth power delivery I was looking at a 10mm stroke, 115 rods, 68mm pistons.... 93 pump gas.. Do power valves really widen the power band enough? Anyone have a setup like this? I think it works out to a 465 Any good/bad issues with this combo or is there a better one for my application? Thanks!
  8. Ya, need a whole new engine...... I was thinking of a 421 but seems like the 10mm engine would cost the same. crank prices etc... just wondering if the 10mm would vibrate a factor X more...... looking to use the cub heads..... maybe some 10mm guys could chime in....
  9. Looking to build a new engine. Im wondering what size engine is the max before vibration gets excessive. Looking to put the engine in a rz350 street bike chassis so I would like the engine to run smooth. Just wondering at what size and stroke it would be a little too much looking for 80-90 hp on pump gas....not drag porting
