  1. i got them now you didnt like how the mids ran or what? i love these cpi's man. with my 4mil cub its got a rediculous amount of top end it just never stops pulling. but good luck man. just see how much money you wanna spend you can build it as bad as you want. basics are just porting, carbs, timing, compression, good pipes and higher octane gas. i think thats basics... :
  2. i have a janessen its either +or--2 dont know its an oval tubing. i cant seem to find a stretched one or somebody who wants to trade for this one. so i think i might just do it the ol fashion way a cut it an do it myself. anybody kno where i can get any oval tubing and ideas? i hate to do it to this perfectly good aftermarket swinger lol but i can unless i find somebody who wants it so i can get a +8. if i can find some tubing to sleeve this with i am gonna cut er up sleeve and brace it up. just need some oval pipe that will sleeve over it so it dont look totally ghetto.
  3. ok i am thinkin of puttin on a drag event im wondering what yal think if any of yal would be interested in comin. this is a serious idea and it would be setup good. with food and drinks and whatever else yal think we should have ppl might need. it would be sand/dirt drag strip.. bring anything you got to run, harleys, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, it dont matter. 90% of my family are old school bikers so there would be alot of harleys there. they used to drag harleys back in the day like this. i think it would be awesome and we have the equipment to build a track i just have to make this idea ''concrete''. what yal think?..we'll prob do it anyway but the more ppl the better. admission wouldnt be much, prob have to sign a paper sayin you wont sew us if you hurt yourself, duh. let me know what yal think with a lil good feedback i would get this baby rollin'! i promise it would be pretty nicely setup. and if there is a pretty good turn out, it will be better next year... it would be a no bullshit everybody come out to race and have a good time event. shit yal could pitch a tent and stay the night race the next day if need be. thanks. let me know what yal think!
  4. wish i could tell you more about them man i know u usully dont need them unless your puttin down a good amount of power. i know that one wont fit under a stock clutch cover(pretty sure). there is one called a slingshot you might should check out couple ppl run them i believe they fit under stock cover also... sorry i cant help man. someone will know. could be a few things. did you soak your new clutches for about 2 hours in fluid before installing them? you check your adjustment and everything? smtn else to think about is most of the time an override tranny goes w/ a lockout. cause if your bike puts down alot of power that lockout will make it a mother to shift! trust me! thats where im at with mine got the lockout but it is so hard to shift it just kills clutch cables man. i'd like to know more about the weight on the lockout...
  5. im pretty sure banshees are setup where the motor is pretty far forward from center. aka nose heavy. so + a arms and - swingarms help out alot im sure. it just puts the motor a lil more center on the bike where you dont face plant if you hit a big one.
  6. so would it be worth it to get an override or just do without the lockout? how much would i benefit from getting suspension(marvins)? what would i gain or lose from goin with marvins and all? i mean i have nice suspension on it now...rear elka, from ishocks, + a arms, swingarm + or -2... or what would be the best route to go with it? override, +8(?) swinger, paddles, and marvin suspension? or what? i wanna get it setup where it is puttin down the best power it can..., with out having to just completely change everything. but then again i do want a drag bike that is gonna be some serious competition, so im willing to get the override and shaw suzpensiion and damn drag pipes if i get into enough... i really wanna know what i will gain from all this and is it worth it? pointers are great lol :ermm:

  9. so what about timing?(+5 now), octane? (could save money runnning 100oct), what length swing? what tires?(for sand drags) what carbs?(got 35pwk's), my gearin will be 16/40 im 185lb 4mil cub(68mm pro lites)... not sure what radiator but its aftermarket(has inline cooler on it)... thanks. and when you tell me that... how do i keep it together the longest i can? and what kind of hp would i be looking at?(around?)... chassis and suspension will have to wait. frame powder coated metalic black looks to good for me to cut on but it will happen. and i know i need an override but it gotta wait to. thanks. lookin for swinger and paddles now...

  11. mine was the drain plug just put some cylicone on it. but i snugged all my bolts back up they seem to vibrate loose pretty easy. mine leaks pretty damn bad from the shifter to. i'd just try tightenin all your bolts up or another idea would be to clean the shit out of it ride it for a min and see if you can spot where its comin from. funny enough dust and dirt helps you see oil leaks and stuff lol. if mines cryin its cause i aint got the money to give her the attention she deserves lol.

  14. im sure i could do it just have to be saving up i recon. i just never broke the cases apart on a shee before. it will be a min before i do it anyway. gonaa get stretched, paddled, then prob override and a good dang tunin! then maybe some marvins. thing is i could trade all my suspension and swinger and tires for what i need cause its worth prob about the same. so if anyone has any of that they wanna do some tradin on or just have let me know. thanks for the imput guys its nice talking to ppl who know what the hell they talking bout. ill be saving and ill holler at you when i do get ready daj....
  15. im not sure im ready to make the step to marvins. i like to do a lil dunin to ya know. i think id be a whole lot happier with some haulers and a +6 or 8 swinger. then the override. and im sure i could do it. if i cant thats what you guys are for right ha ha jj

  17. 1st off sorry no pics at the moment it is smtn to look at tho my printer fukd up so ill try to get pics asap. ok it is black and red edition. it has the ''pen lock'' diff lock, jetted, hmf pipe, warn winch, programmer, snorkeled, lift on the front(have lift for rear also), 29.5'' outlaws. brand new top end. pistons, cams, everything, no hours since new motor/top end. it was a lil more than a top end cause like i said cams and all sure it was d0ne right done by professional. knN filter. thats all i can think of now its a nice bike new motor in it. all the extras you can buy. ill try to get pics asap. in mississippi

  21. i use maxima mtl 75w. but it all comes from the same damn place i dont think theres much difference just gotta keep it clean jus my .02. ive seen ppl run cheap shit in there harleys and other nice bikes and never had a problem.
