  1. gonna try to get out there this sunday to hopefully i can get some jets by then and have my bike runnin good! with work and everything let me know if any of yals goin out there its been rainin everyday almost.

  3. i am gonna order some mains and some pilots for my 35mm keihin pwk's, there on my 4mil cub bike, cpi's, vforce 3's, cool head...ect.ect... i have 155 mains now ive heard 162 is aT LEAST what i need in there not sure about what pilot i need or is in there... or about the needle it says EE k on it clips in the middle. im gonna order some mains and pilots but im not sure which ones i should order they arent very expensive but i'd rather buy the right ones first so which ones do yal think i should order. im wantin to play with my timin add some to it like +7 maybe if its better for it. but thanks
  4. I THink im gonna order some jets prob just a 162 get it jetted to that put it on like +6,7 timing. see how it runs if it dont run good ill be back. its running better just turnin air/fuel miture screw in a half a turn....!
  5. would these carbs be holdin it back from its potential...? or will just gettin it jetted fatter help it alot and tuned right help it alot....? thanks.

  7. 155 main, not sure pilot, needle's a EE K clip in middle...
  8. needle says EE K clip in the middle.. i need a 162 jet to try if anybody has one.

  10. Preciate that man your right. whats the difference between at +4 and +7...? if it will run better at 7 thats what ill put it on. gotta see what pilot is in there still. no tellin what the air screws are at. what about the needle clip? i need some jets!!
  11. lookin to try some tunin on my bike dont have any extra jets so i need some for 35mm pwk's,.. mains and pilots whatever ya got just wanna try one or 2. im at 155 main now so anything bigger. thanks.

SHOULD i try more gas and more timing? i've heard cubs like timing... but that would lean it out, right? and if yal say it needs bigger carbs(more gas!), that my main jet seams to small. then should i try to go to a bigger jet and then if its too rich i could lean it out with adding timing, right? maybe thats what it needs??? then maybe the 16 tooth front sprocket might be right where it needs to be... so... does anybody have some jets?? :biggrin:

  14. its a 155 main. not sure on the air/fuel screw either should i try to start over on them screw em all the way in and try coming out with them or what? and its a bitch because i dont have any spare jets... and REALTREE it isnt really snappy off idle like you said... sometimes if im runnin down the road higher gears but lower throtle ya know it almost sounds like the right cylinder comes into ''sync'' at alil later time than the other... yes i guess you could say im a begginer to banshee's/2 strokes(4strokes got boring)... but not to riding at all. all it will take is for me to get my bike right and ill learn what does what on the way and then ill know from then on... so take me to school. i have jetted plenty of bikes before dont get me wrong but there is alot idk about banshee's. because i've never built one before. but thats why im hear to learn!,... thanks for bein patient with me and sheddin the knowledge on me lol :biggrin:
  15. its topping out, running outta power too fast on the top end... i'd love for you to ride it and tell me how to get it right buddy that'd be great im gonna try to go sunday this weekend but my clutches might not make it check out repairs and mods section i had a post tryin to get some info on how to get it right... thought about trying some timing... heard cubs loved timing but yea it just tops out too fast...
  16. he he he he i have an untuned 4mil cub not stretched lol but ill still run it lol. map quest it its easy to find off 49... hilarious ive gotta get this thing tuned right man you know anybody who does tunin in ms.?
  17. there in great shape 155 main jets in them. in excellent condition just wantin to go bigger let me know if anyone is interested thanks.
  18. i didnt like how the power band kicked in and the power spread but every motor is different kya kno
  19. i really dont know of any good tuners around here. wish i did. i stayh consistent with my pre mix oil and mixture they just didnt have 111 this time so i got 100 didnt think it would make a big difference. but that makes since the more high strung my bike is the more tempermental it will be. honestly im kinda new to banshee's havent worked on them enough to know what it lacks or needs... i just know its toppin out or revving out too soon
  20. no i run 15/40 now tried a 17 it was too high didnt like it took too much from bottom. no i havent done a plug chop i usually run 111 when they dont have that i get 100 octane. my plugs look good tho. but yea it seems to get weak on top end in lower gears like it could have more pull all around smtn is def not right.also never have done a compression test. i think im gonna try +7 timing just for the hell of it. its hard finding time to work on it and trial and error it. and run it and all. thats why im trying to get all info i can from yal thanks for all yals help keep the info comin please. i need direction lol. not sayin it runs horrible tho cause it does run good sometimes some situations. but ill mostly be dragging it and hill climbin kinda goin for smtn like LOCOGOTO's setup.
