  1. took everything apart today and my impeller shaft did have some lil grooves in the middle 3 lil ones, whats that mean anyway? and there is a very small crack on inside of cover where the impeller bearing sits. i think im just gonna order new gaskets and get o'rings for tube and head and see if that helps.
  2. i need to know where the best/cheapest place i can get an override is, and how much im lookin at spending. prob go with the dunable or which ever one is the most usable since i do more than just drag. need some help putting it in to... never owned one before. was gonna sell the banshee but nobody has any loot right now so guess ima put some in it while i got it. also im chasing a water leak down(water getn in oil and oil in water.wtf), needin some help. replaced water pump stuff one time didnt fix it apparently... thanks.

  5. thanks yal. hillarious i never got rid of it its just been sittin. needs a head gasket kit i guessin. still havent had th3 money to tune it god i wish i knew how to get it runnin tip top shape. thanks for the info guys ill prob take it apart tonight or smtn anything i should watch for or keep an eye for while im in therea?
  6. never done one on a banshee before was wondering if yal had any pointers im about to order a gasket kit. its a cool head on cub cylinders does anybody know the torque specs on it? thanks.

  10. i was wonderin where the best place to get a head gasket for a cool head would be... its cub cylinders if that matters, 68 mm bore 4mm stroke, 20cc domes. anybody know what to torque them?
  11. thanks man that helps alot. only thing now is should i strut it? or how would it act if i did a design like you have and left my shock...? its an elka dual rate or whatever its nice really hate to take it off to put in a piece of steel lol. yes i have a plus 1 or 2 janssen swinger not sure which one it is.
  12. going to build one just wantin to see some of what yal run. get some ideas. i got a 4mil cub janssen +2 swingarm. stock frame, elka rear shock, i shocks front w/ +a arms... just wantin to get some ideas see how yal designed and built yals... thanks.
  13. that helps man thanks. i was thinkin that i could make the wheelie bar act as a strut w/o taking my shock off. but i can build a strut pretty easy. guess it will be mostly trial and error. how would it work just connecting it to the swinger and not the frame? and how low would i wanna get the rear? what about the front suspension(i shocks) + a arms.... pics would be nice also. i understand about the transfer tho if it was too short. it would be wantin to bunny hop
  14. i figured it would be cheaper to make a wheely bar and try it than buy a swinger. i got a +2 janssen swingarm elka rear shock w/ ressie. stock frame 4mil cub cpi inframes..... just wondering the basic design that works and any pointers on mounting points design everything.... also wouldnt it be like it was strutted if i made the bar from the frame to the carrier bolts? so i could built it whatever ride height i wanted right im just brain stormin kinda right now any tips appreciated thanks.

  16. oh yea i weigh 180 190 smtyn like that. dont have my paddles or swingarm havent decided on what one i need yet. ill mostly be draggin, hill climbin, i dont like to be limited tho i just race on the road sometimes sometimes dirt sand whatever...so ima keep my suspension(elka dual rate rear, i-shock fronts). i put a 16 tooth on front it seemed to help it not bein so short...startin out in second cause it spins so much like it is now. i got holeshots now its janssen swinger -or++2 not sure i plan on havin set of paddles and prob cut dirt tires for which ever im doin. might cut these holeshots but i plan on stretching it definately i gotta get it tuned now and chase down a air leak get it runnin right...my first thang. thanks tho yal
  17. damn they were way off huh lol... but hell yea man im countin on it! well get it back and i can give you my home address to send it this time. i got my sprocket on timing at +7 just had to see what it will do. and im gonna run it tom and prob put that 165 in it just to see and then ill count on you bein there sunday man so we can see if we can get it right! another guy from here will be there.

  19. i know this is an old thread an all but i wish i could 'safely' run pump gas to man its a pain in the ass i gotta drive like 50miles to get some 111 instead of 2miles the store to get 93... i would say go for it tho. i do like the smell of some 111-114 tho lol. i run 111 tho not sure my compression but its a 4mil cub with 20cc domes
  20. what size gearing are yal runnin? i got a 4mil cub with 35mm pwks cpi's runnin 15/40 seems way too low just wonderin what yal run with around the same amount of power i have or what i should be runnin thanks.

  22. hillarious... slopoke tried to hook me up with some needles and jets but they got lost we tryin to get it tho. im will be there sunday slopoke hopefully you can make it ill be in a green 95 f150 jacked up. carbon fiber plastics on bike... im gonna that as soon as i wake up. i still want to get more power out of it. it'd be cool if you got to ride it and could kinda tell me where to go then. thnks for all yals help man. im learnin alot about my bike and all and i appreciate it.
  23. i made a post like this before got alot of good info thanks. so i got me some 165 main jets to start out with. i have 52 pilots in it already. my timing is at plus 4 now. i just wanted to kno kinda in the ball park where it all should be. like with a 165 main around where should i start on my air fuel mixture, pilot will be 52 thats all i have now. i will be puttin in the 165 tom hopefully i can get it tuned good with yals help. and i also would like to know more about ''cubs and timing''. should i try more timing when i get to tuning on it or what???
  24. man for handling i'd have to say steering stablizer... if you had the money i'd do a arms and some decent shocks. only thing is i think you have to have an aftermarket stering stem for a stablizer might be wrong
  25. yea im just gonna have to try some and see it feels real lean. ima go with like a 162 main and 52 pilots and a CEL needle
