also what carbs do yal reccomend? and why?

sounds like a good set up. how much is it milled? cause i've read .30 you can run 93 octane. but if it is .60 you'd prob need to run 50/50 race fuel & premium. just what i've heard.

Might be a stupid question but do yal just ship or ups yals motors to somebody if theres nobody close enough to drive? i live in mississppi and dont know of anyone who builds banshees. slobanshee seemed real cool im callin him shortly to get advice on my build nice guy. if i lived in utah or wherever he lives i'd def take it to him

Trying to sell can am now and i will have 2 to 3 grand to put down on whole bike and hopefully fully built and nice!

just say i have my head decked .60''(or a cool head and whatever equal dome that is) along with +5 timing, .20 overstock pistons, ported and polished, with my pro circiut pipes and knN filters with stock carbs or stock bored to 32s(know where a set is which would be better?), what kind of horse power would i be looking at? would i need to get hd springs or anything else i need to know about? and what kind of porting could i get? can anyone give me a combo and the hp and what would be necessary with the combo(porting, bore, timing, shaved head or dome size)

wow man thanks. that helped alot. -how do you slot stock one and advance it 4 to 5 degrees? how difficult? -would 5 be too much? its not gonna be alot of trails. and about what kind of price range is it for aftermarket cdi's or timing plates? (does the timing go with how much compression you run? i'd like to run as much as possible. cause i will be doin a lil dragging.) running 50/50 race fuel and premium isnt a problem cause i'd like to get as much power as posible but still be pretty reliable. how reliable would shaving .60'' be? then i'd have to run 50/50 race fuel right? and i hope someone does convert that to dome size(not sure if ill be getting cool head or not) -Is .60'' and +5 timing too much? and how will i know how to jet to that? -I plan on adding .20 over pistons to this setup and prob will get a port job. but what kind of port would i want to run? would i also want to look into better clutches and truing and welding the crank? dont want to go in there if i don have to. you have been very helpful keep it coming... im taking notes lol.

i have an 02 banshee and im wondering what would be the best setup or best parts to go together with what im wantin to build. im wantin to have alot of power so i can do a lil drag racing but still be reliable enough to ride all day just playin in the dunes. or fast trails. heres how it sits... its jetted, has k&n pod filters, pro circuit pipes, stock bore, guy said it had 2mil crank??? and said gears were cut. i have a set of .20 over pistons im going to put in it. i want to build it right! thought about .20 pistons, porting, cool head about 19cc domes(not sure), maybe advancin the timing to. just dont know too much about one just got it a week ago. any advice would be great somebody take me to school lol :biggrin: thanks.

ok i got ya. ive never had one so dont know what to look for yes it has adj. screws on the sides they most prob are idle adj. why you ask that??? i have alot to learn lol its all good tho i am a spunge lol

Mine must not have them then they just got cables commin out the top of em. the caps say terri cables racing????? but thanks tho but nothing is noticable on top of carbs so it must not have em.

yea if you clip a tree at 40 or 60 skids aint gonna help lol. but i like elkas man they are fine never rode them but i plan on getting them. where in ms are you from??? the stock back shock does seem pretty good!

MINE stalled really bad on bottom end until i got to top end and stalled in every gear but it was because my reed boots or whatever were leaking. they have a big crack in them i'd check them for leaks for the hell of it

makes sense thanks for expllainin lol so you'd have to go by how much compression you have wether you got high comp pistons or bored cylinders then you'd have to see what cc domes would give you the most power for how much compression you have with whatever set up you have??? thats y yal do compression tests right?

I just got my banshee and i hate not knowing what all this means yet im trying tho lol. i dont know what the different domes do or any of that. anyone wanna explain sorry gotta start somewhere! :shrug:
