i recently got my quad and it has a +7 degree timing key. i no a lot of you are gonna say these are junk and im gonna do away with it within the next week or so. but i have rode it qute a bit and it runs really strong and im extremely happy with it. i wanna take it out this weekend proly for the last time of the year. my question is what gas should i run. ive beren running 94 octane and it seems to be fine but could mix in some 110 if you think i should. it has t5 pipes, pwk 35's bored .080 with stock stroke and port. i ride in central IN (not sure of elevation). also im jetted a little rich to be safe. i run repsol oil at 40:1. i measured my compression last night and im at 137 and 140psi. i had my head cut to make my squish .045". let me know what you guys think...i just dont wanna risk hurting anything if my octane isnt high enough.

yeah i agree that the carbs arent really your problem. mine has 35's on it with t5's and pods and no port work and it has pretty good bottom end and a ton of top. im going to go to 33's tho. for your thumbs sake i woiuld just cut down the springs on top of the slides. i thought my thumb would fall off one day so i cut the springs down drastically now its as easy as stock. it had a twist throttle when i got it and it was still hard to turn but not too bad i just hate twist throttles

mine is bored .080 over with wiseco pro liites and t5 pipes. i think 34 would be bigger than what i need. what size you think would be best. i mostly trail ride nothing competitive or anything just want a little more low end without losing too much on top

i have a set of pwk 35mm carbs. my quad is mostly stock motor wise so these are a bit to big for me. id like to have something like 33 or something. just wanting to check interest

looking for good used .090 over pistons. im gonna re sleeve next time so dont wanna spend 200 on new pistons this time. also need a good price on axle carrier with good bearings and seals

got mine apart right now. its the 4th different quad bottom end ive split and its the easiest so far. its an excellent design and very simple

thanks for the positive feedback guys. all the painting i did i used some stuff from carquest called rust seal. it dries about as hard as powder coat. this is experimental with my plastics though since ive never sprayed them with it. i put some on a test piece of plastic and mangled it all i could with my hands and it didnt crack or anything. this stuff is awesome. its $25 a pint tho

well for now i think my best option money wise is to sell the cool head as is on ebay and buy a stocker. i dont really see the advantage to the cool head. more pain in the ass and i dont figure on spending 60 bucks to buy new domes and 20 for o rings

well you dont have much to choose from. but if i had to pick id go for hightower. at least the cards may actually have a chance to score. the bengals suck ass. but my panthers are gonna beat the piss outa the cards. hightower may stumble on a touchdown though.
