Thats what I was thinking too. Hopefully that's all it was....I'm going check over everything and do a compression test on Monday just to be sure. I appreciate your quick responses!

Today I went out for a ride and was climbing some steep coal hills with very little room to start. After a few climbs I decided to go for one more. I got about 1/4 of the way up the hill and I heard a pop...at first I thought I threw the chain, at least thats what it sounded like but I didn't. It also locked up even with the clutch pulled in....kind of like it was in gear without pulling in the clutch. I noticed while it was on the hill that it was leaking alot of fuel from the carb overflows. So I got it down the hill gave it a kick, it started right up. Everything seemed to be fine, the throttle seemed a little easier to push and it seemd like it might have been a tad easier to kick...but maybe it was just me because it wasn't that noticable and I was over analyzing. I rode it home and everything was fine. I'm wondering what the hell could have happened on that hill. Alot of things ran through my head...maybe the chain skipped somehow.. I don't know..seems to be running fine now. I'm just confused as to what the hell happened while going up the hill.

I think this weekend I'm going to strap a big house fan to the front of my banshee and make a commercial. Kind of a spoof of the turbonator, sham wow and billy mays. If I have time I'm doing it and throwing it up on youtube....

Hey guys, thanks for all your opinions! Thats what I was looking for. I really don't want to get rid of my banshee, I just know I want to get a yfz. I think I'll suck it up and wait a lil longer so I could have both.....which would be awesome. I want too many toys and thats my biggest problem!

I wouldn't say it's hideous but I do think just black would look a lot better. Just my opinion...

First off, I love everything about my banshee. To be honest I wanted a yfz 450 before I bought the banshee but didn't want to wait to save up the cash. Now that I have the banshee it's going to be hard to get rid of it. I want something that is versatile. Something that I could mx, trail, and hill climb. I honestly never drag race and I don't compete in hill climbs. I do have some monster hills where I'm at but nothing for competition. In the future (next year or two) I wouldn't mind getting into GNCC and I'd like to get to MX tracks more often. I know if I sell the banshee there is going to be some things I'm going to regret. If I sold it I would use the money to put down on a yfz. I'm not selling it yet I'm just thinking about my options. I don't know if I want to keep the shee and get a 450 on top of it (because I don't want 450 payments). I just wanted some other opinions from those of you who have both (or had both).

I don't mean to get involved in this but I would like to add my opinion. I rememeber when I first registered here at the HQ. Of course like 90% of everyone else, I lurked around without posting anything. I then posted a few things, not everyone agreed with what I posted, and I'd get some dick head comment about my post. I can't speak for everyone else on here but I think in order to not get offended by some people's posts, you have to have thick skin. I believe I get along with everyone on here. I think the only person I ever got shitty with was loco, once, but I like him and think he's a big help when it comes to what people really need. I think one of the dick head comments was from DAJ but like he said....that's how he is. He does know his shit and most of his posts have helped me with alot when I needed it. Same with MJ...both of you know your shit in my opinion. I think at one point everyone has something cocky or smart ass to say about someone else's post. I think if you don't like what someone else posts...there's nothing wrong with a little shove back but....in reality...this is the internet. I think both of you are good guys....but I also think that you are getting offended way too easy. I don't mean to stir the pot any...just my opinion...

I rode on of my freinds Raptor 700 with similar mods. It felt like it pulled a little harder in bottom end (like it would take my banshee off the start) but it felt like the banshee would reel it in once I was in higher gears.

You did a great job! Looks good! You should have went with Eagles colors...woulda been WAY better!! lol j/k.
