  2. BTW what mods do you have? If it's piped 270 may be a little small depending on mods, temp, and elevation. Check the pilots too and see what size they are. I'd say the problem is in your carbs. If I read your comment correctly you must have just bought this bike.
  3. Pull your slides out and check them. Every time I ride through water or wash mine the throttle will hang. I was able to pull the filter and see which one was sticking. I was also able to see beads of water on the slide. I put new caps on my carbs but I haven't rode it yet to see if that fixed my problem. I also took emery cloth to it too to make sure there wasn't any blurs on it. Clean your carbs.
  4. It's FUCKED! Time for a rebuild with brand new parts this time.

  13. It almost looks like the electrode out of a spark plug but it's not missing in the pictures. Maybe it was in the pipe or who knows. Maybe a banshee grimlin just got in there. How many hours are on this top end? The intake side on the non damaged piston is are scratched up. That sucks!
  14. I've had the drill bits from when I was drag racing and jetting carbs for alky. I had everything on hand that I used.

  20. Before someone tells me to buy some, I have an extra set of 25 pilots and numbered drill bits. With the being said. Does anyone have any laying around that they can put a numbered drill bit in and tell me the bore of the jet. No one locally has these and if someone can tell me the bore, I will just drill my extras.
  21. I'd like to go but I'll be at Hatfield-McCoy Trail systems riding that weekend.
  22. Hey I have a lightened Blaster flywheel that i never installed on my wifes bike if your interested, PM me.
  23. Take a stephoscope or a wooden hammer handle( to the ear) and let it idle and listen to the different parts of the engine with it to pinpoint your problem. Maybe the exhaust is just loose.
  24. If you have stock pipes the baffles that are inside the stock pipes could have come loose and thats what your hearing. Does it stop if you hold one pipe or both? Or if you had a broken piston a piece of it could be stuck in the exhaust and rattling.
