  1. A set of 44 HV Lectrons with billet bowls, 3 sets of metering rods, metering rod tool, and extra needle and seat. These carbs have only seen gas and have very little use. One set of metering rods is for alky (PE-1's). I want $500 for it all plus shipping and fees. Cable is included also. These carbs were turned down on the intake side so they measure the same OD as a 39 PWK. If you decide to upgrade from 39 PWK's then these carbs will fit the same size intakes. +12 SLC Customs chrome swing arm. Great shape. It is a link style. I had Metal tech weld on the bracket for the rear chain slider. It didn't come with one. I want $350 for it plus shipping and fees. I also have a low hour chain I can sell too. It is a gold RK non oring chain to fit this arm for $50. Shearer chrome bb big flange "one out each side" silenced pipes. These were 49mm or so flanges and I had Metal tech bore them out to fit 53mm flanges. I bought these pipes used and never got a chance to try them out. I am only asking $300 + shipping and fees for these since one of the stingers is shorter than the other. I don't know if this will matter or not. Chrome look very nice on these pipes. PM me your email address if you want more pics or my phone number.
  2. The "m" in msv is for maximum not mean. The msv is measured in mps or "meters per second".
  3. When the motor is at TDC (top dead center) for either piston, you are actually measuring the distance from the top of the piston on the outside of the bore to the "deck" or top of the cylinder. A fairly normal reading would be .004 inches inside the hole (bore) which means that when the motor is at TDC, the piston doesn't reach the top of the cylinder. Some builders will run a thin base gasket, cut the base of the cylinder, or cut the cases to lower the cylinder which raises the piston out of the hole. I have seen some as much as .080 inches. Other builders will run a thicker base gasket which will put the piston much lower in the hole. This is important because it affects the actual trapped volume of the head. If you are .004" in the hole then your fpv (flat plate volume or volume of the dome which most people quote) must be added to the volume of the .004" in the hole. At .004", it is only like .37 cc's but if you were say .020" out of the hole then you would end up with about 1.8 cc's less. Deck height will affect port timings also. Once you find a setup that works well for you, then make sure to use the same thickness and material base gasket after each rebuild. A new one of course.
  4. What is your deck height?
  5. Still got them. PM me for my paypal address and any other info. you want.
  6. Filters Sold. Intakes and Ball joint boots still for sale.
  7. Any offers before these go off to Ebay?
  8. I have a set of 8" used filters with blue outerwears. One of the filters has a small hole in it. Only $25 shipped for both filters and outerwears. I have a used set of Cheetah PV UPP intake boots. These fit 35 to 39 pwk carbs. No issues. Only $40 shipped I have a brand new set of stock replacement ball joint boots. I bought these from Cascade but never used them. Only $15 shipped
  9. It runs fine that way. The two breathers on the side are part of the same circuit and that is all the regular pwk's come with. I tried it both ways and it made no difference. The carb could actually function on 1 breather. Thanks for the bump.
  10. bump These carbs are perfect, guys! Hardly used.
  11. Go for the 10 mil. I don't hear a lot of people complaining about too much power. LOL I dune on a 4 mil DM and love it. I actually would love more power. Keep in mind that the port timings will affect the power too. Find a builder who can port your cub for low rpm power and broad power too. It will make all the difference! See you at the hill next season. Mailman
  12. The bowls go with the carbs. Thanks for the bump.
  13. I have a nice barely used set of PWK 38 mm Air Striker carbs setup for methanol by D&M Racing. They have the power jets, billet bowls, etc. They were setup for a 421 cub but can be adjusted to fit other size motors. The mains and dumps are at 120. These are setup to run on gravity so no pump is needed. No problems. $350 takes them
  14. Money sent on swinger and chain. Check PM for shipping address.
  15. 15/44 or 14/42 would not be a bad start. I had a similar build and that should be a good start. There are too many factors to get it spot on like HP output, rider ability, weight, etc. If you had 14 and 15 tooth counter shaft sprockets and rear 41's to 44's you should be able to find a good combo. You should be able to get a good hard launch in second gear otherwise you are geared too high. Good Luck.
  16. PM sent.
  17. Anyone have a set of DM intakes they want to sell? I am having a custom set made and was looking for a set in the meantime. UPP's for a DM or ???
  18. Looking for stock ratio straight cut gears for a shee.
  19. It is just a pricing game. The fuel prices there didn't change. They simply add $0.50 per gallon as an extra fee. The price of $4.81 is actually $5.31 a gallon when you add in the fee. Same thing I paid. They started doing this about a year ago. The slip used to say $5.31/gallon. Now they just choose to record it as 2 separate prices.
  20. I just picked up 10 gallons at Deer Valley a couple hours ago and it cost me 53.03 out the door. So $5.30 a gallon. They post a lower price but then add a fee on to it. Still worth it to me though.
  21. I just found one locally. If it is not straight then I will get yours. Thanks for the quick post. Good price too.
  22. I am in need of a "straight" banshee steering stem. Let me know if you can help and how much. Thanks, Mailman
  23. No, not pump fuel. It is on race gas. VP110
  24. The 94 HP bike is the real deal. I know the owner and have seen the bike run at the hill and on the dyno. I was also there for the pipe shootout. They did everything by the book. The Hall pipe is called #19. It has that name for obvious reasons; it is the 19th final pipe design for the LT500. This pipe has been in the development stage for over 5 years; probably closer to 10. I wish people could understand the time, effort, math, IQ, etc. that goes into a dominant 2 stroke pipe. I wish people could also understand that there is as much potential in the pipe as there is in the porting. The pipe is such a critical part of the flow/scavenging of the motor. The best part of the pipe shootout was that they had a full Q spec bike. The bike had everything that Q offers for the motor. The motor wasn't that impressive on the dyno and also performed much much better with the Hall #19 pipe. Everyone almost felt bad for Q when they saw the results for themselves.
