There is a thin metal baffle plate or float guide...............I am not sure what it is called or what it is for but I can't seem to find it on the Mikuni parts diagram online. Does anyone know what it is called, where I can find one, and/or what is it's purpose? It is on a methanol drag bike if that matters. The picture is of the broken part. There should be two rectangular pieces on each side. One of these rectangular pieces broke off so that is why you are only seeing one in the picture. This mounts over the needle/seat fuel inlet.

I have a bunch of cheetah cylinder orings that seal the dome and the cylinder if you need some or want some extras. I might also be able to get you a kit if you needed. PM if Koolguys can't help you. I also have some extra thick exhaust pipe orings too if needed.

I just went through all this to ship a quad. 800 is too much. Uship isn't a bad option but there are some shady people on there so you must read the feedback. All my online quotes were too high. I ended up going with a really cool guy. It is just him and one other guy. They will do a door to door and haul it in an enclosed trailer. You don't have to prep the bike or crate it. They pick it up, strap it down, and bring it right to your door. Here is their contact info. Wolverine Cycle 817-680-8226, 817-496-4111 I spent weeks looking for the best deal and this was it. I could have saved a little going with someone who I didn't trust and would haul it in the back of their truck but that just didn't sit well with me. Mailman

Anyone make engine dampers out of Delrin?
mailman replied to mailman's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
It is in a hillshooter chassis. I have one strut under the motor right now and it is a solid adjustable strut. I will be adding a second one. The motor is a triple cylinder banshee so it is heavier than stock. I had this same issue on my Cheetah too. I think the stock rubber dampers are too soft to handle the power when you launch. The rubber gives and the motor twists and then the chain alignment is off and the chain skips on the rear sprocket. I am talking with a member on here who is a machinist who is willing to make one for me. I will be sending him all the measurements. I was thinking of having just one long piece vs. the two separate damper mounts. Any input from you guys would be great. -
Anyone make engine dampers out of Delrin?

Oops! I couldn't find the other one so I thought maybe I forgot to hit "post" or something. You will be older one day and understand. LOL Admin, please delete this post. -
I was wondering if anyone knows who might make custom banshee dampers out of Delrin. It seems like the stock banshee rubber dampers are not hard enough to keep the engine from moving around and causing chain issues during the launch. It would be nice to find someone who already wrote a CNC program for the piece instead of everyone inventing their own wheel. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Mailman

Hey Zach, I have a set of 44 Lectrons on Ebay right now. They were set up for gas and include the billet bowls and the cable. I have the alky needles for them and I also have the larger needle and seats needed to run alky. Depending on your motor size, you may require 2 PJ's. I currently have only 1 PJ in each carb. My screen name on Ebay is Chrisandgail. Just type in 44 Lectrons and they are the only set on there. I have no reserve so you could get them for a decent price. If you win, I will change out the needles and needle/seats for you. Mailman

I had a similar problem on a bike I worked on a few years ago. It turned out that the carb bowls were swapped. The choke will only work with the correct bowl on it. Try swapping the bowls and let us know. Mailman

Thanks Matt! I will give Tim a call. Thanks for the other info. Wes. It is helpful to know that the other case savers won't work for 17's or larger.
-
I searched this but no luck. I know most of the case savers only work for 14 or 15 tooth sprockets. What case savers are available for the 17 tooth banshee counter shaft sprockets? Who sells them? Thanks
-
I have some. Shoot me a pm. Your phone number is missing a digit. LOL
-
Thanks. That helped me find the part number BL305 NR NSK Brand Thanks also to Tedder for the PM.

Are you guys running a high load or max load bearing on your banshee transmissions? I am talking about the large bearing next to the countershaft sprocket. I was told the OEM is not strong enough. What hp do you think a max load bearing is needed? Who sells them? Thanks Mailman

DRAG DUNE BANSHEE CUSTOM MUST SELL 4300.00
mailman replied to speedrip's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Can you post up the dyno sheet on this? I would love to see a 350 dune port that put out 105 on the dyno. -
Still need one more 72.5 bore 18mm pin T-rex piston
-
No luck yet. Bump
-
Awesome. I need the 18mm pin ones. I sent you a pm with my number.
-
I need 18mm pin size.
-
I need some 72.5 bore T-rex pistons. I could use 1 or more. Let me know what you have or who you think might have them. They are discontinued from DASA. I called DASA, White Knuckle, TDR, and Trinity. They all say no. I know I can switch to an H2 piston but don't want to do that at this time since it will throw off the timing and domes. Any idea who might have some? Thanks, Mailman

Rear brake Roundhouse swinger conv. question
mailman replied to mailman's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Thanks. I have the whole setup but the special "flange washer" is missing. That is the only piece I need. I will try the places listed above. -
Simple question but does anyone know where I can find the "flange washer" that fits on the swing arm and goes through the mounting plate for a round house swinger rear brake caliper? When you upgrade from a banshee stock swinger to a round house honda style swinger, then you buy the rear brake mounting plate. I need the spacer with the flange that fits between the plate and the rod welded to the swinger. Is this a Honda part or do the vendors carry it or can you find it at a hardware store?
