Yeah I do alot of trail riding and such. No dune ridin' around me. Even when I spray bomb little parts here and there it only lasts a couple of rides do to mud and crap.

Fairly easy if you are good at turning a wrench. But if you are low on compression (did you test it?) top end might have to be rebuilt. Could also be a carb problem. Do a compression test before you start buying parts.

Gouge it out a bit and JB weld it to you are ready to replace. Easy on the drain plug or you'll make it worse.

Are you saying the case bolt broke below the top half? If so your best bet (even though you don't want to) is resplit and use visegrips or an easyout. I just may be misunderstanding you though. Welding is a good option too since it won't stick to the aluminum if the stud isn't buried in the case. Good Luck! I hate stupid set backs like these!

If you have a Tractor Supply nearby i'm sure they have what you need.

Your best bet is to sand it. Paint strippers usually contain acetone and will eat the plastic. One of the best ways to remove paint from plastic IF YOU ARE NOT REPAINTING is brake fluid.

Just wondering if anyone ran this concocsion (sp?) in their quad. I don't run mine in the freezing temps and thought for $9.99 a bottle and some distilled water why not? BTW for whoever doesn't know what water wetter is, it's the stuff made by Redline that's supposed to make a normal cooling system run 20 degree's cooler than normal. It says it can be used alone w/ water but it's recommended to be used with 15% antifreeze. I'm assuming for freezing purposes? Any opinions or experiences? Thnaks Dominic

A metallic dark gray would look good with red. That's what I painted my Blaster frame. Sorry no pics yet.
