  1. im not even reading what you type mustang guy. if you dont like it, leave. simple.
  2. say what you want, there is no bigger fuck head than one that wastes a sponsor's time and use some one else to do the work.
  3. get a clymers manual, buy or download. all parts and build notes are in there.
  4. it will hone out.
  5. ah ok, i dont have a clue where to start with 2n1 jetting, i heard that the needle plays an important part on a 2n1 setup, do you know what needle it has in it ?. its prolly carb/jet related as you say. hopefully some 2n1 peeps chime in on jetting,
  6. there has been 3 specials so far, 2 from M&M and 1 from fast you could wait for another special to come up, or just buy one now and have a bike ready before the "special" even comes out. pffft waiting pffft patience
  7. was it fine previously and just started to run like this ?, did you buy it like this or has anything been changed on the bike prior to it running shit WOT ?
  8. what dumps are in there ? should be 389q2 as stock ? how does it fall on its face ? splutter or falls off the pipe n bogs ?
  9. yep ignition can effect anywhere. especially in a hi load situation. check the plug caps by checking the resistance from on side of the cap to the other, they shouldnt be over 5k ohms, use a mutilmeter. and check the coil with a multimeter, primary and secondary resistance. as said swap leads and see if the prob changes sides. that will tell you which lead side is the prob.
  10. nah 1 carb is poo. the stockers will be fine, once they are tuned, they are fine. and they are not hard to tune.
  11. check leads, caps and coil. i dunno about jetting a single carb setup.
  12. stock toomey jetting for sea level at around 70f is 280 main, stock pilot, air screw at around 2 turns. with the airbox and no lid. if you running pods maybe try 290 first.
  13. what do the plugs look like. what pilot jets ? if it was fine with the old carbs and not now, its gona be a carb setup prob with the new ones.
  14. ah ok, im not sure how the round slides jet. what do the plugs look like ? do you need the choke to start it ?
  15. what carbs ? 34 what ? keihins, mikuni's , flat or round slide ?
  16. metal orings and copper headgasket ? bit over kill ? ive heard nothing but bad about trinity domes, so maybe you need to look into them as well. whats leaking, coolant or air ?
  17. yeh i cant start the day without a good ol huff o gas, pump was just replaced with opal in some remote areas, avgas wasnt used instead of pump anywhere. theres actually petrol smugglers n shit haha fukn dickheads.
  18. avgas isnt oxygenated, just leaded. i never had to rejet from pump to avgas (tho i do jet slightly rich), the plugs always looked good. chopping with avgas is the same, it just leaves a greyish ring instead of a choc brown. ive ran motul 800 ever since ive had my banshee.
  19. yep, i got no probs with it. i run pump now, but ran avgas for a few years.
  20. ive used the rpm mode on an multimeter. running one one lead it will read half the rpm, so if its 700rpm its 1400.
  21. what are you running now ?
  22. haha this main page is getting massive.

  23. stroker crank is when the stroke is longer and gives you more displacement as the piston travels more than stock. long rod is when the rod is longer and the wrist pin has been moved up on the piston, to aid in side load on the piston and is a smoother transition at maximum travel. you can get a long rod stroker, short rod strokers. and long rod stock cc cranks. you need long rod pistons with long rod cranks.
  24. it was going so well too, then BAM !
