what 34mm carbs are they, mikunis, keihin , round or flat side ?

i prolly would have checked what jets it has in em before fitting them. pull them off and see what jets are in there, and post up your mods and elevation.

after its first start up, get it to operating temp, either by blipping the throttle or ride it around a little going through the gears. (dont let it sit there and idle) then park it. the next day re torque the head and base nuts. then go ride. some people run a few tanks through, some thrash them from the start.

the caps are 5k ohm if one is open, it or the lead is stuffed the charging coil is around 14-20ohms and pickup coil is 94-140ohms have you done a comp test just to make sure ? what do the plugs looks like ? screwdriver in the cap is another way to check the spark.

i dont like the whole "you cheaped out on a crank" i was never given the choice. if anything i was told these cranks are as good as or better than the hotrods. i dont cheap out on stuff. if i cheaped out on parts, then those parts came from your cheap sponsors. now i have to spend 680$ on a crank and rebuild kit and then more money, coz i may aswell port the cylinders as they will be off anyway. i dont care, whats done is done. i just has to open my wallet, due to misguided and false advertisement. i dont like being called cheap, i dont have much stuff, but the stuff i do have isnt "the cheap stuff" ( .Y. ) boobies !!!!

with the 34tm radar speaks of with the 421 it doesnt. ive been trying to jet mine and i started at 350 and im at 280 now and its heaps better but not perfect i still need to drop a few main sizes. ive been scared to lean it but these carbs just dont need that much main. thats with the flat slides. radar, what dumps where you using ? 389 q0 -q2's ?

ive ran it in my banshee @ 40:1 for a while. its good just expensive.

so you dont and have never used the 29/lr rods ? cause if you did and you dont now, id really like to know as id like to pull the crank out before it does it for me.

hahaha what a croc of shit, putting the blame on the customers. shops arnt all that great, they fuck up too. it must been the magnetic pull of the moon breaking all of these 29/lr rods. they cant be poor quality noooooo. its normal for a conrod to just break.

i ran 27.5 pilots with 340mains stock needle in middle clip in my stock carbs on 421 serval with t5's at sea level and 70f temps. bigger carbs will wake the bike up for sure, tho the lil carbs offer pretty awesome throttle response. speak to jeff at fast, he'll hook you up on carbs.
