I don't want to fork out the 30 bucks because I don't absolutely need them all, the money will be spent on things like a new set of brakes. No argument, it does make sense to get the kit. I'd just rather spend the money elsewhere, then to have something i don't need. So because I don't fork out 30 bucks for something I don't need, this isn't my sport?? Not everyone has the cash to throw around for their toys like you might.

I don't need to entire top end kit, just the head gasket. The only thing that is coming off is the stock head and putting on a milled one in its place. It'd be a waste of money.

Pods really suck in the air compared to an air box, they will make you run lean if you don't rejet. Your jetting is off, when I put my pods on it made a deep sucking noise until I started getting closer on the jetting.

I just assumed the stock were paper. So if I stack two of em under my milled head it'll raise my squish band correct? How much shipped to 48746?

Lookin for a paper head gasket or two, I'm not having any luck finding them other than having to buy a whole kit on ebay. Anyone got an extra sittin around they'd let go???

I just bought a .030 milled stock head and the person I bought it from said his squish was at .36", adding another head gasket would remedy this correct? Where is the best place I can find a cheap paper head gasket, the only ones on ebay are the metal ones.

They won't go over the piston or rings?? If it's the piston, then you have the wrong size piston. If it's just the rings they won't go over, you have to compress them.

Try putting the needle on the 3rd clip and ride it, if it is boggy at half throttle then go back to the 2nd clip.

Get rid of that crap twist throttle first off, double check your pilots and what clip your needles are from the top. Stock postition for needles is the 3rd clip from the top, for your mods and elevation that should suffice. You might also want to try a size or two bigger on your mains, pods really suck in the air. Yes, if the jetting is way to rich the unburnt oil wil be pushed out your exhaust.

In the rad itself. Fill it full and run it for a bit and see if the level drops any, if it does you have a bad seal somewhere. If that isn't it, check your jetting. What pilot do you have and what's the needle setting?

It sounds like your rich on the pilot/needle or your burning coolant. Has you coolant level dropped any?
