  1. If those are stock arms, they aren't supposed to be powdercoated. I'm pretty sure they're ruined.
  2. I'm using my gauge from harbor freight. I'm still on the original top end and it's a 95', so I would imagine it's about time. Looks like I'll just run em down to the shop in town and get them measured and see what a hone will cost. Ya learn something new everyday, thanks guys.
  3. Dearborn will be a little to far, I appreciate the offer . Rodneya, not knocking your advice, but wouldn't I just measure at the top of the cylinder then flip it over and do the same to the bottom?
  4. It's about time for a rebuild and I got a really good deal on a set of brand new stock bore rings to go with my stock 64mm cylinders. My stock port motor has 106 PSI in the left cylinder and 108 PSI in the right. My question is, what are the chances that my cylinders will be out of round? I know the only real way to tell is to have them measured, which I plan to do. I'm just waiting on my digital caliper to get here. Seeing as my compression isn't too awful bad, it would seem that the wear wouldn't be major and I could get away with just a hone for now... Let me know what you guys think.
  5. Just buy the wal mart brand "super tech".
  6. What a tard. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-MYSTERIOUS-LIL-BLACK-BOX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem19b706bc9bQQitemZ110444854427QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  7. So this guy is sending a 15 year old boy, links to gay personal adds for adults 18+.
  8. The reason you run leaner in the cold is because the the air is thicker than warm, thus causing more air intake and the same amount of fuel resulting in your lean condition. More oil in your gas will not fix that, you will just have smokey exhaust. You need bigger jets to counter the larger amount of air coming through the carbs. It sounds like this is part of your problem along with your fuel octane. The lean condition will cause backfiring. Buy bigger jets and drain that poo 87 octane out of your bike, before you start having bigger problems.
  9. Why in the world would you put 87 octane in your bike?? You need 91-93. More than likely it's detonating like a sombitch, I don't know if that would cause backfiring tho. Why did you richen up the fuel? The jetting needs to be changed for the weather, not the gas/oil ratio.
  10. Damn, the wright brothers were the first to fly AND they make boost bottles?
  11. Dude, she's 4.
  12. For a four year old, i would imagine anything with a motor would be damn fast. Maybe look into one of those small knock off quads, they're usually around 50cc and fairly cheap.
  13. Just a question, why did you have it re-sleeved then bored to .30 over??
  14. If you wanna run pump gas swap out the 18cc domes for 20-22cc domes anc check your compression, if it's 150 or less you can run pump gas.
  15. It doesn't sound like your too sure on the octane your running. You HAVE to make sure you are running the correct octane, if your running too low of octane you will start detonating. Anywhere between 91 & 93 octane should be fine with a completely stock motor. You personally need to start being the person who pumps the gas into the can so you know for sure what your fuel is.
  16. A 2 stroke should not back fire on the way down, nor at any point. It should rev full and clean top to bottom.
  17. You already know what before is, here is the after. (They are a tad dirty): You can pick the stuff up at any auto parts place or places like wal mart, the stuff I buy is called aircraft remover.
  18. Why was he only paying for 20 dollars of the shipping cost?
  19. Eff Mtv, hang that banner high. Make their asses blur it out! We'll all know what it is.
  20. Aircraft remover will work just fine for removing paint or powdercoat. My 95 had the yellow front wheels and I got tired of that pretty quick, 20 minutes with aircraft and I had 2 completely different wheels.
  21. Damn that's messed up.
  22. That's sweet, drain cleaner is wicked. Any brand preference? Or will just any work.

    stock carb

Are you talking about the carbs you bought from me? Edit: Damn, bro they should be there tomorrow. I gave you your tracking # correct?? Priority mail is being effin turd.
  24. Just a thought, did you swap and try all those things at once? or each one at a time? To me it sounds like your getting weak to no spark on that cylinder.
  25. LOL I'm pretty sure that teen cribs is just a show about random kids with LOADED parents that buy them and build them the coolest shit money can buy and they show it off, no athletes or celebs.
