I am in Southeast Arizona and have my 94 Blaster for sale or trade.
-
HaHa, that's classic. We did that and used magnifying glasses to burn their backs with sunlight and they would sting themselves to death.

It's funny, I only go over there to talk to members about local ( Arizona ) riding and events. Haven't really seen much of a use for it otherwise unless you are big into drag racing.

Maybe I was just using oil. But I know 2 stroke didn't work either.

We weld cases all the time in our shop. Not a huge deal to do. Any good GTAW welder can fix it and make it unnoticeable.

32:1 Klots Supertechniplate in VP110 and Premium 50/50 mix is what I run.

It's a bit of a drive to the dunes, but to be away from the Cali bullshit is well worth it. And to think i wanted to move to that worthless state. Fuck that, never gonna happen. Now i know why all of the Cali folks are moving here.

Check your kill switch on the bars. The previous owner of my Blaster never used the switch on the bars and I did right after i bought it. No start and ended up the contacts had gotten full of dirt, oil, grease etc from 12+ yrs of no use. I cleaned it and it works fine to this day. Just a thought.

The only issue I have with the search feature is that you can't search oil, K&N, pod, jet etc. I tried searching for Transmission oil and it told me that 1 subject was less than 4 characters. Gap ( spark plug ) is another biggie. It would be nice if there wasn't a character minimum for the search. I agree that answering the same questions over and over again gets old, but also remember that not everybody that comes to this site is "computer literate" and it may be their 1st time on a website for that matter.

If nav. is all you want go buy a factory nav. unit and use that. Pretty simple that way.
-
All i am saying is do the research. Shit doesn't just plug right into your stock wiring. I have XM and Bose in mine ( No On-Star ) and between those it was going to run me nearly 700.00 between adapters and the deck. That wasn't even a Nav. unit either.
-
Unfortunately it is not that simple. I found out the hard way with my 06. There are a ton of adapters that you have to use to put in an aftermarket stereo. You didn't say if yours had Bose, On-Star, XM etc because they all factor in on what you want to swap. Check out www.dieselplace.com ( even if it is a gasser ) and look in the audio section. Should answer what all you will need and what decks are compatable.

We pay a 1 time 4 dollar registration fee ( not street legal ) and that includes the ORV plate. The nice thing about that is when we go to Glamis ( or anywhere in Cali for that matter ) we don't have to have a "green sticker" as the bikes are registered but in another state and have plates on them. Az just went to a "blanket" fee for watercrafts though. It is done by length regardless of the year made. I have a 91 VXR Pro and an 01 XLT 1200 and each 1 is 20 bucks a year.
-
Like it says. I was going to buy new but I don't know what the length in MM is. So if anybody has a few laying around or can give me the length ( 63mm, 75mm, 83mm etc ) LMK Thanks.

Sold my Ninja, time for a better Banshee

That's kinda what I was wondering I am skeptical of spending that kind of money on a "gimmic" I would rather spend it on something that is more worth the money. -

How much? I am seriously thinking about selling mine and finding one already built. Seems like a shitload of headaches so far to build mine. -

HMMMM sounds pretty good to me. Are the V-Force reeds really all that great? Reason I ask is I am still running stockers. I have the manual coming already and a cool head was on my list to get also. Thanks for the ideas. Anybody else? -

Okay, so I got the go ahead from my wife to start saving for porting, and such. I am not looking to be "King of the Hill" just a bit more power while still being reliable and not just running straight lines all of the time. What is a good place to start on a decent engine build? I know I will get the same " send it to a builder" and that's all great ( I will for my porting ) but being in the mechanics/automotive industry for 20+ yrs., I have the ability to build it, I just need some ideas on where to get good parts at a fair price and what is recommended for a middle of the road build?
