Just finished the rebuild on this bike and it's a beast. I am not into the dirtbikes like I use to be and want a 2nd Banshee or another quad so I can build my Banshee. Here's a list of the new stuff New top end New Hot Cams int. & ex. cams ( w/ auto decomp.) New gaskets and seals New timing chain New timing chain guides New timing chain tensioner New water pump impeller New water pump shaft New water pump bearings and seals New front and rear fenders Moose Racing clutch basket Excel rims New rear wheel bearings and seals The bad Needs a number plate, the one on it is pretty old A couple small holes in the seat cover Will need chain and sprockets in the next few hours of riding. My buddy has an 06 CRF450 and I can run with him all day long.

Looks like we are going to have a pretty decent sized group headed out to Hot Wells for Thanksgiving. I will be there from the 25th to the 30th. If anybody needs any info on the location etc, let me know.

No it's running rich, smokes pretty bad even when warm and the plugs are only 2 rides old and were black and oily. It runs okay, but I can tell that it's way rich and should run alot better.

Decided to check my jetting ( haven't checked it since I bought it ) and compression. My compression is 122 and 123 cold. My mains were 350's and I know that is wayyyyy too rich. My list of mods are as follows. CPI inframes Pro Flow intake and filter (no box at all ) +4 timing Everything else is stock, no porting or anything. I am at about 4800 ft. in elevation. Please get me close, I have read posts over and over and can't seem to get a real straight answer on where to start.

Honestly I frequent both sites but I spend more time on E2S than here. Seems to be alot more traffic overall on E2S than the HQ. If all you own is Banshees then the HQ is where it's at but if you own other bikes ( Flame suit on ) then you need to look further. Don't really know why the 2 even need to be compared, not even close to the same as far as coverage goes. Once again this is America and everybody has a right to their own opinion. Pretty much every site ( with the exception of PS LOL ) has it's purpose. I am a member of both and will continue to be.

I run 20x10 Mazzi Hulks on my 06 DMax too. Tires are 325X60X20 Toyo Open Country A/Ts. Looking to go to some black teflon daggers or something. My Hulks are going to get trashed with hunting and everything.

Naw didn't have the carbs apart. I am thinking stuck floats from sitting. I had too much sun and beer playing golf today so I wasn't really in the mood to mess with it.

So I welded my pipes up and got everything put back together. Haven't ran it in about a month or so, so I decided to take her out for a quick spin. Key on, kill switch on, choke on, gas on, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick etc. fucker won't even try to start. I checked spark and it's all good, has fuel. Never had this problem. usually starts 2nd or 3rd kick. Not today. Also noticed fuel dripping from my overflow tubes. Guess it's time to do some work tomorrow and see what I can find.

So basically I was told since I was not the original buyer I was basically fucked. I took them off and welded the cracks in the flanges and used a little bit of aluminum paint to keep them from rusting. Doesn't look bad but still pisses me off. Also the pipe on the shifter side rubbed on the frame enough to rub a damn hole in the pipe. Welded that up too, atleast you can't see that.

My buddy wears the 50/50 boots. I don't like them but that's just me.

With 1 mirror, a horn, all appropriate lights or hand signals, registration and insurance it's 100% legal here. As far as the tires go, they have never even checked or said anything about running my dirt tires on the street.
