  1. Well I was going to say something like, "If Crazy doesn't buy the domes, I will". But it looks like he just might have enough money to afford them!
  2. We have at least 16 going there that weekend. We'll be getting there on Saturday, staying until Tuesday. I'm not sure which campground we'll be at (don't know the name...not the one who booked it), but we'll be in the cabins. I've got the only banshee, though! Most of us are on Yamaha's at least!
  3. A picture. It is OEM black.
  4. I don't need this anymore. I took the carrier bearing and axle off. Comes with the stock skid plate. I'd like to get $400 for it. Just kidding. I'll trade it for some heel guards, or a non stock bumper, or some smaller headlights, or something like that and I'll pay for shipping. OR it's free to a good home if you pay for shipping. I don't even know how much it's worth, but that's all it's worth to me. Any offers???
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/30MM-CHROME...sspagenameZWD1V Looks like a generic carb. Anyone try any of these or have any ideas about how much trouble these might give someone?
  6. Well I just sold my T-6's on ebay, and am going with either the t-5 or the CPI. Can anyone who has run both of them give me a heads up? It is very important that I get the best pipe for duning, but if one gives me an extra bike length in a drag would help as well (I'm in a stupid pissing contest with my friends...porting comes after this riding season, but until then, I need the best! You know how it goes! They've got YFZs) Mods: Pro Design cool head w/ 22cc domes (154 psi at sea level) 30 mm Keihin carbs .40 over bore +4 timing K&N filter w/ outerwears V Force III reeds +6 swinger 22x11x10 9 paddle Hauler Extremes +2 rear axle (hopefully getting some 2+1 front a-arms) So, CPI or T5 (or other???) Thanks, Eric
  7. PM sent. I want either T5's or CPI's. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just sold my T6's, so I need some pipes NOW!!! Anyways, I'm eventually going to port my shee and put a 4 mill in. Until then, I'd like a B.A. exhaust with all my bolt ons... Any suggestions??? Eric
  8. That would've been great to get out this past weekend. It's been the worst winter I can remember around Oregon for a long time. We've got a group of 16 going to Winchester on the first weekend in April (8 guys, 8 girls). Staying at the bungaloes. It's going to be CRAZY. 9 YFZ450s, 1 Kawasaki bike, 1 KFX450 (who invited that guy? LOL) 1 TRX450, and 1 Banshee. It's still 1 1/2 months away, so I'm heading to Christmas Valley on the 15th of March. Hopefully it won't be too cold...
  9. So are you saying to just unplug the connectors instead of buying the kit? If that's all it takes, why is there a kit even made? I'm just wondering, btw. I have no idea what I'm even talking about. With that being said, what do you gain or lose by eliminating the TORS system anyways?
  10. Click the thumbnails to see bigger pics.
  11. They are basically new...they have 1-2 hours on them. The shee has 22" paddles on it now. No scratches or bends in the polished aluminum wheels. The casings are even Skat-Trak. Let me know if you've got any questions. I'm located in Oregon, and I take paypal. PM me and I'll tell you my ebay name so you can check my feedback to know that I'm an honest guy. I'd like to get $150 out of them. Eric
  12. Winchester Bay is the best BY FAR if you like hill climbing. There is no comparison. At times during the year, there are the highest dunes in the country (depending on weather conditions, of course). There are some pretty intense trails off the sides of the 5 fingers, however they are not very easy to find. We go there more often than anything else. It's awesome for everything but jumps. We either stay at the campground, the bungaloes, or the manufactured rental homes. Florence is the biggest. It has all the drag spots, and there are so many trails. I think the biggest problem is that most people go to the middle of the dunes and don't know where to go from there. They go over comp. hill and ride for awhile and that's it...turn around and watch the drags. BORING. If you explore, it is awesome! There are at least 3 campgrounds within riding distance, plus countess vacation homes if you've got the $. Nothing like it! If you like a little bit of everything, either Florence or Hauser/Horse Fall!!! It is the "hidden" treasure of the Oregon coast (besides Sand Lake, but it's too small). Hauser has a KOA, and you get hill climbing, trails, drag (ever heard of "boxcar drags"?) It's a nice journey between all 3 (Horse Fall, Hauser and Boxcar). I think Oregon has a maximum db level of 96 +or-. I've heard 94, I've heard 98. Nobody will bother you with a db level around 100. I don't EVER ride with my spark arrestor, which is required. Eric
  13. Damn...vaseline is a great trick! Never thought of it... Man, I've read on here for the last few days only to find out I've got a hella lot of reading to do.
  14. Hello all. I just put on a +6 swingarm, and everything's great... EXCEPT: I'm curious as to how the shee is supposed to sit. Are there any shock/spring adjustments that I need to make? When I push down, it only springs up about 2 inches. I'd say I can pull it up about 3 inches and it stays right there...until I push it down again. Any tips??? Thanks! Eric
  15. You wait that long? How can you stand it? We're planning a big trip first weekend of April to Winchester. Actually it's planned. We're staying in the cabins, and hopefully there will be minimal ponds! lol.
  16. Man then I'm really confused... My cylinders are bored 40 over with Wiseco pistons. Is this not porting? Sorry, mainly just a rider here looking to get into the finer things.
  17. Hey thanks for answering. I'll eventually get the head ported, so maybe I'll buy the carbs at the same time. I know...I need some more paddles...I took the 6 paddles off my YFZ450. So, for now I'll get some reeds (possibly intakes) and a timing plate and some 9 paddle extremes. I'll try calling the dude I bought the bike from to ask him what domes are on...however...the compression should go up at sea level, right? He set it up for sea level, and said it'll go up about 15 psi. Is this true? The cylinder bore only has about an hour on it, with new Wiseco pistons, so I wouldn't think the motor would be worn. Also, do you guys usually send your head out, or have somebody locally do it?
  18. Oh yeah, I also have a +6 swing arm and am running 6 paddle xtremes 21x11x10. Should I advance the timing?
  19. Hello all. I hope some of you can help me out. I just bought an 06 Banshee (my third shee). My stepdad used to do all the work on my rides, but I moved away and want to start working on them myself. Now I have done research only to find I get more confused the more I find out. I've got a Pro Designs coolhead. I've read about the "domes" and don't know what size I've got. The cylinders are bored .040 over. The compression was at 129, but I'm at 3500 ft. I have some K&N filters. Here are my questions: 1) I've got Toomey T-6 pipes. I've read that T-5's are better. Why? 2) I want to get a set of carbs, but what size? 35mm? 36? I'm going to ride mostly at the coast dunes, but sometimes we go to a place called Christmas Valley and ride those dunes (over 5,000 ft above sea level). I had the opportunity to buy a Trinity 2-1 with Boyesen reeds for 350, but didn't do it because I want mostly top end power. 3) I want to get reeds as well. Here, I'm lost except I know they help with throttle response. 4) Jetting suggestions for the 3 above mentioned altitudes  5) Any other suggestions for some more reliable power? Thanks to all in advance! Eric
  20. I put the diamond j customs wheels spacers on the rear until I buy an axle. I had them on my YFZ450 for awhile as well. They work great. I wouldn't put wheel spacers on the front of anything that goes over 40mph. I have some wheels that are offset -1.5, so that they stick out 1.5", and that gets rid of wheel spacers. I also wouldn't buy this widening kit, but I would ride someone else's to check it out.
