dude.... A full tank lasts me about 2 1/2 - 3 1/4 Hours in trails..... Its horrible, I hit up reserve EVERY time I'm out. I def need the bigger tank but they are hideous imo. Maybe I'll just not ride as hard.......... N E V E R !!!! lol

Synthetic blends are made to run with less parts oil than gas. And I'm pretty sure the Amsoil is pure synthetic, there would be no reason to run it at anything more than 44:1 unless your not willing to rejet your bike, and are currently jetted for some ridiculous mix like 20:1.... Any quality synthetic or petroleum/synthetic blend should be 100% safe and clean to run @ 50:1... especially if your not racing (or constantly wot)

I always have heard to use lube on seals when building a motor, any motor.... So I always have. I use a touch of thick gear oil or assembly lube (something that will hang around in case I dont fire the motor right away) But then again, I used to use anti sieze on my flywheel untill Loco brought up a good piont about that putting more stress on the woodruff key. Which is unrelated but what I'm sayin is untill I see a valid reason not to use a little lube on the seals, Im gonna do it, cuz It makes sence to me.

Yes your right CB, he probably does need a new shaft but, you might want to consider (when you get your new shaft) to check that side to side play before you button it all up. There is a "bung" (moled in chunk of aluminium) on the clutch cover that the shift shaft hits to stop from sliding to far out.... This is gonna wear first because its soft aluminum where as the shift shaft is strong steal. If this is the case, take it to a welder who does aluminum and have him throw a glob on there then grind it down nice snug fit. :thumbsup:
