What did you blow up? New gameplan for our group is to shoot midweek for SL and weekends to chester. Between what you've all said here and what my buddies have said, oregon made a nice little profit on all of us last weekend.

We were out there the week-weekend before memorial day. When the weekend hit they were out there in full force tossing tickets left and right. Been told this year they are cracking wayyyyyyyyyyy down on DB levels. Almost worth it to head down to chester or coos not to be bothered. Same as you said tho, not much wind, the dunes were beat the living sheet outa you rough.

Personally I enjoy Winchester the most, bigger dunes, and no dune curfew... But if I were you, id ride all 3. Stay at Winchester its in the middle, you got Florence 30-45 minutes north of ya, and Coos 30-45 minutes south of ya... Up to you tho

Yeah ill try em, problem is, this is my 4th set, all been 20-30 a pop, so this will be 100 bux on trial and fail headphones, lol.

My problem seems to be when i put them on, then i put the helmet on they fall out... or dont stay. Do those skull ones hang on?

Was lookin if anyone knows of a good set of headphones to wear in your helmet, i got some philips ones but they dont like to stay on the ear, and the normal earbuds fall right out.

So this winter after being left out of all the other riding trips in previous years, i went and bought my first Banshee, most def had the mod bug ever since, been getting really really into it, starting to get ready for the summer riding season, come to find out everyone that i go riding with is selling all their quads to keep afloat due to the economy and not many trade jobs coming around. Of course now that I have my own quad ive got noone to go riding with and im kickin myself cuz its 60+ outside and my ass is in here pokin around the site! talk about buzz kill on the summer. If anyone gets bored in the portland Or area, and needs a mid week or a weekend riding buddy, lemme know im all ears and the shee's ready to rip. Hope everyone thats out this weekend is grabbin gears n drinkin beers for all of us that are stuck in town :thumbsup:

lol SO true, my brother went to school and was buddies w/ one of the son's of the owner of Action and he used to go to them to give em buisness but now he refuses going there because theyve botched his stuff up twice, he got new plastics and took his bike in for service and there was a huge gash in the plastics afterwards and they claimed it was there b4. I go in there to get whatever last minute stuff i need, shy of that i steer clear.

Yeah I was in there and was lookin at em a few weeks ago, and a guy came up and said you dont wanna get one of those, you wanna get one of those (pointing at a raptor) i laughed and walked away. The price they had on em was as you say around 5k, was seeing howmuch you could dick em down too, for the last couple years they seem to have the same ammount on the floor but IDK howmany they have in the crate.

Not to hijack this, but my carbs were doing the same thing after i dumped my bike on a light roll (tried to cut a corner went up on the burm and the sand gave out) so the bike went on its side, then when i went rippin down the beach in 4th and 5th gear it seemed to me like my bike was cutting out and i was fine on gas, what could be the cause for this, idk if it was from that little tip or if it was from something else...

Just got home from this weekends rideing, the weather was UNHEARD OF for Feb down there, was nice and calm and pretty warm, the wind seemed to pick up at about 3:00 every day tho, rode at Winchester on Sat, then went and rode at Florence on Sunday, Florence was a mad house, no where to stage. The weekend was a blast, no injuries aswell makes it a bigger plus. Hope everyone else had as good of one as we did!
