  1. Sure. You could box the chain up and send it back to the company and have them put in a link for you. But it's just cheaper to get a new one. Besides that, think about your sprockets "fingerprint". The other links would be worn down to where the chain would roll smoothly over both sprockets. So now if you replace just one. You have a new link that would not roll over the sprockets the same way as the other links. Some people have told me that it is ok to run two master links in one chain. I simply don't like that idea, it makes for two weak points in the chain.
  2. And nobody at "Speed ATV" wanted it?
  3. What kind of drags are you doing? Asphalt, dirt or sand? Suspension suspension suspension. You can not drag on a stock suspension. Anybody here will tell you, that no matter how much power your motor makes, you will not get it to the ground efficiently without the proper suspension.
  4. Nice Raptor bro. If you head out to a little place called "Busco Beach" on a nice Saturday. I gaurantee that you will find someone there who will take it off your hands.
  5. Only negative thing I have ever heard about Nate, is his prices. Even those aren't that bad! He makes up for it in customer service though!
  6. Lapdog!?!?!?! I think that guys head wouldn't fit in my lap!
  7. Ohhhhh my. This is going to get worse than the nutswingers thread. I can see it now. Welcome to the HQ Katie! I knew something was up when I read the post with your pics. You have pictures of sleds and whatnot behind you. BansheeRider87, you're a lucky man. I wish my riding partner looked that good!!!!
  8. Dude, i'm on the other side of Philly. You get the details and I will do my best to show up.
  9. They do grudge racing?
  10. I just got out of the Navy after 6 years in December. Trust me when I say that you will need a enclosed trailer to house that thing on base. There is no other way around it. If you get one, you will find tons of service members that ride in the off time. If you don't have a trailer, leave it at home until you find some guys that you can ride with at your unit, after basic training (including your basic school training). Then, leave it at there house for a few until you can come up with the cash to get the trailer. If you sell that bike right before you leave. You will kick your own ass once you realize how much money you could've dropped into it after basic training. My .02
  11. *Sniff sniff* You lost my number!? How could you!! ::
  12. Your ignition is factored in also. A stocker is a breeze compared to a PVL.
  13. YUP! This is a good deal! Someone needs some go getter juice!
  14. This is just like the two-stroke powerband on the same motor! It depends on who ported it right? The powerband on Tyler's motor is going to be a lot different than the powerband on your motor. Even though they are the same size. My 14mil is a royal bitch to kick over! And when it kicks back, I have to stop and drink a beer. Lol. I take the kicker SLOWLY all the way threw the cycle 4-5 times with the throttle all the way open. Then I give her one good kick. Starts first time everytime. Also this has a lot to do with strength. Leg pressing 600lbs might be an easy task for some guys. Others, it is not as easy. Another thing is, you will get used to kicking over your motor. Like Tyler said, he has been turning his over for 4 years now. So his is pretty easy for him to kick over. Get it? Got it? GOOD!
  15. I have a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I'm located in Canton Ohio.
  16. I live in Ohio right now. I went to school in Buffalo though. So all of my buddies still live around that area. I frequent there A LOT. I will get up with you when my shee is ready.
  17. Holy ish! 7 lbs of pressure is A LOT of tire pressure! Especially in soft dune sand. I was going to suggest that your not holding the throttle open all the way, but Travis beat me to it. Also, if you don't have an override, you need to make sure that you are bringing your RPM's ALL the way up in second gear before you shift. You are not launching in first anymore, so you have to adjust before shifting.
  18. I agree with what both of the guys above said. DMC's sound the best. But picking a pipe based solely on that is stupid. I mean yeah your bike will sound mean and get lots of attention. But what if you get the wrong pipe and have no top end for those hill shoots?
  19. WTF do I need a rigid for Tim!? I got me a WWW chassis now! Wo0t!!!!! That's right fellas! This beast is off the market!
  20. Ummm. I had this same question not to long ago. I asked a buddy if it was a good idea for the longest swingarm possible. I was looking at a +16 for my 593cc Cheetah. This is what I came up with; Although, it seems like a great idea to go with a longer arm, it will end up hurting you in the end. You DO NOT want to go over a +14 swinger. The reason being is, you have more chances for the long ass chain to jump. Even if you have a tensioner on there, you might as well forget it man. Plus, even though you have the power with that engine to drive that long of a swingarm, you are going to be robbing yourself of a lot of power! If you are hell bent on trying it, give it a whack and let us know how it goes. There is a reason that +16 arms are pretty cheap. I strongly suggest that if you are looking for more length, you modify your chassis first, OR get a drag chassis. For that motor, I think it would look great in an extended chassis anyway.
  21. You can take the brake pads back off and scuff them down until they don't rub anymore. My back brake is the same way. Very tight in there. But hey! I like it tight. Also, if you are having trouble with the size of the bolts. Just go to your local stealership and get a set of OEM ones. That's what I did.
  22. On Friday, November 22 1963, it is a proven fact that John F. Kennedy was not assasinated. In fact, as three speeding bullets came flying towards JFK's head. Chuck Norris appeared and stopped the bullets with his beard in the blink of an eye. John F. Kennedy's head exploded in shear amazement.
