  2. I had a similar problem on mine only ran right at like certain rpms and I found the problem my crank was bent just slightly found a used Hot Rods and it runs like a champ
  3. Just wanted to get everyones opinion on this I can get a set of PT mids for cheap and was curious if any one is running them with a 2 into 1 carb and how it runs Or if I should go back to duals I am currently running FMF Golds with the 2 into 1 and really like how it runs in the trails Thanks
  4. You are right about the purpose of the collar it is like a limiter I stop them from rattling by spraying chain lube on them once it drys dirt doesnt really stick to it

  6. Grind the rivets down and save them rebuild everything press it back together reinstall the rivets and weld them back Thats what we do works everytime
  7. I had a problem when I bought mine used the guy didnt say they were the old arms I found Ricky Stator has the ball joints that fit the Lonestar arms without reaming the spindle they look like they are the same exact ones as on the wicked arms

  9. I am having the same issues on the same side as well as a buddy of mine A local shop that specializes in shees says we could have twisted cranks Hope you figure it out if we find out the problem on ours I will let you know

  13. A high amperage switch would work or you could rig up a relay
  14. I dont know how gas prices are there but my little 4 banger open bow still is hell at the pump The boat may be cheap but the fuel is not But have fun with it if you can

Okay I searched though 30+ pages and didnt find a good answer so here we go I recently purchased a set of LSR +2 +1 arms and the joints and alright but I need to ream the spindles what is the correct size taper reamer I will need to use What are these ball joints I have read I can use 1 ton chevy tie rod ends or 79 Ford Contour something is there any truth to this if so that awesome to go get them easily if they go bad Last thing can I run YFZ spindles I read that it will make me a bit wider and I want them for the better brakes but isnt the angle for the ball joints different Thanks
  17. I agree I run works and they are great NO complaints Then get you some +2 +1 arms and your in there this is the setup I will have when my arms get here
  18. The next cheap things I would do is you could go to a 20cc dome for more compression and you can get an adjustable timing plate and advance your timing about +4 It all really depends on how much power you are looking for You could go higher on the compression but race gas will be a must then
  19. I hope you figure it out a friend and are both having the same issue we have checked everything A local shop says he thinks I may have a twisted crank Good Luck keep us posted

  21. Either way Deck says I may have a twisted crank which seems to have been killing my case as well Thats why I just picked up that other engine rebuilding it as we speak may tinker with a DIY cleanup port
  22. I have tried swapping reeds side to side and nothing I am running FMFs that were already in it and are good blkshee199 has VF3 brand new
  23. I talked to a local shop because I have the same issue started to believe it was the crank seal so I replaced it and it did nothing now we believe it is a twisted crank Not to thread Jack but I have the same issue exactly
